The original SBE with the non Comfortech Stocks do not have cast on or cast off! The SBE also did not have much of a choice of butt pads from what i have seen?

benelli told me they do not sell them and if they did they would be 3 times what you could buy in any gunshop with equal quality! just use some quality solvents, lube, grease and cotton rags. i got some militec-1 and next 3 cleanings will use it and hoppes solvents or CLP.

Problem: Shells do not fully feed onto the carrier. Check that the magazine spring is undamaged and that it is installed in the magazine tube correctly. (Stock spring length is approximately 21.5") Check that the plug is installed correctly and not interfering with the magazine spring. Check that the magazine follower is not binding on dirt or debris in the magazine tube. Check that the follower is not installed upside down.

SBEII cost a little more but you have a lot more choices in the other shotgun! SBEII has nowhere near the options as the field gun you wanta compare to a waterfowl gun. Both guns would be nice!! but for a field gun for me i would go with a O/U JHB!

The Benelli brand according to website is Insight Technologies and anything for a Benelli will take forever to get unless ya buy from an idividual. They sell the wire seperatly i am sure for an extra cost but if ya love toys money really does not matter. http://www.insightlights.com/chart.htm call them and ask them if ya gotta go thru dealer?

I would agree with you as long as the mount holes look in similar positions that they were plugs which would be pushed out from the inside quite easily! Plugs should be able to be reinstalled once removed anyway!
