  1. Surefire? No. Picatinny rail lightening cuts? Absolutely! I've had handguards break due to "saving weight" with lightening cuts on Picatinny rails... in the middle of demos! Likewise, asking someone to trust their life to such a minute weight difference is a liability not advantage. The 1913 Picatinny rail has specific dimensions for a reason.
  2. Thank you for your service AIRBORNE6176. The agency handguard looks rad and provides 8 and 5 o'clock mounting options, however like you said about the durability and simplicity of the factory handguard, I would revert to something both stable as mounting platform AND provides ease of disassembly. The latter is my only complaint about the FAB Defense handguard. Otherwise durability is key when mounting accessories to a 12ga which is why I do not advocate any Picatinny rails with lightening cuts as found on the Surefire handguard. Likewise if you choose to go the MLOK route, ensure the MLOK Picatinny extensions do not have lightening cuts dramatically reducing the strength of accessories mounted. SAMMY!
  3. I'm in agreement with StrangerDanger. I avoided mounting handguards like Surefire or B&T - or even the newer MLOK handguards for reasons of weight, profile, and strength. I chose the FAB Defense handguard to maintain the profile of the original Benelli handguard allowing the installation of a vertical foregrip (in my case M249 SAW) to maintain control of the weight and pointability of the Benelli M4. Recoil on Benelli M4 as any owner knows is negligable and rather it's about maintaining control of the mass. The FAB Defense handguard as StrangerDanger has expressed on other handguards prevents the readily disassembly of the firearm which fortunately due to the ARGO system is not an issue due to the lack of fouling on Benelli M4. Furthermore the FAB Defense handguard needs to be fitted to the Benelli M4 and isn't quite simply "drop in." Modern handguards that use MLOK slots or Picatinny rails with lightning cuts are of concern to me for reasons of durability in the mounting of accessories - specifically vertical foregrips. We do not want to see a repeat of the KSG dude. Unless my Benelli M4 requires disassembly, I am content with security of the FAB Defense handguard - however, do encourage durable options that do not increase the weight or profile of the Benelli M4 handguard to be available that permits disassembly of the firearm. SAMMY!
  4. Day late, dollar short. Thank you Benelli Forums for wishing me happy birthday before anyone else. Regarding the FAB Defence handguard, I do feel it is one of the best options available due to weight, durability, and maintaining original handguard profile. I am very against polymer rails on firearms, however this handguard has proven several times over to hold it's strength. There is no question of it's difficulty of installation and it prevents me from cleaning the firearm. Just cleaned my Benelli M4LE 11721 for the first time in 16 years and working on the reinstallation of the handguard. For the sake of 16 years, my Benelli M4 has gone through thousands of rounds and never missed a beat. Thank you again Benelli Forums. SAMMY!
  5. Under the 26" law, could Benelli import either the M3 Breacher or a Shockwave variant of the M4 with the 14" barrel and import them as non-SBS? With the current monopolization of the Remington TAC14, Mossberg Shockwave, and Black Aces Tactical firearms manufactured without a stock and overall length of 26", I believe this is a niche Benelli should consider. SAMMY!

Still have my 11721. Won't ever sell
  7. Will you please send me the demo for the forearm as well? I am guessing that you are using an Factory FN SAW Foregrip? Thanx. SAMMY!
  8. If you purchase a 4-port model, Benelli will replace the barrel for free. When I purchased my M4LE and found out about the barrel porting issue, I sent the shotgun back and they returned it with a new barrel. SAMMY!
  9. texas skeeter, email me. thanx. SAMMY!
  10. Isn't there a handguard that mocks the standard Benelli M4 rail and has a Picatinny rail along the bottom? I am considering the Brugger and Thomet quadrail, but I am concerned about increasing the weight of an already heavy firearm. PS. Check out the MK46 SAW fore-grip. It is manufactured by FN and matches the Benelli M4 pistol-grip. SAMMY!
  11. Any feedback on the Specter-Gear (CQB Solutions) CQB, CST and/or SOP slings for the Benelli M4LE with telestock? Thanx. SAMMY!
