And those marines are clueless when it comes to choosing shotguns, they clearly made the wrong decision.

400+ off msrp is worth it for some people.

I guess they somehow feel there isn't the demand for it. Got me.

My first benelli was an m4 ... I went straight to the top. However, I have never shot a benelli that I wouldn't be proud to own, regardless of cost. If you're really that worried about the quality, shoot any benelli before you buy yours. I'm sure you can find someone, dealer or not, that has one and will let you use it for a few rounds, especially if you say you are considering a purchase. Do some more research before buying ... you'll be back.

It's been anally cleaned eh.

Extensions ... http://www.surecycle.com/default.asp http://www.nodakspud.com/ http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&fkr=1&from=R8&satitle=benelli+m4&category0= Or I have a nodakspud I would sell you for ~100 shipped, in mint condition.

You need a rail first ... The best cheap route for a quality flashlight is a surefire g2 nitrolon, the z32 antishock bezel, a 30mm scope mount, and the 120 lumen head. http://www.opticshq.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Optics&Product_Code=Surefire-G2&Category_Code=Surefire-Personal-Lights http://www.opticshq.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=Optics&Product_Code=Surefire-P61&Category_Code=Surefire-Accessories http://www.action-lights.com/flashlights/surefire/accessories-and-bulbs/z32-bezel.asp a click on tailcap if you want it ... http://www.opticshq.com/page/Optics/PROD/Surefire-Accessories/Surefire-Z59 and I'd use an ARMS type mount. http://cgi.ebay.com/Single-QD-25-30mm-scope-ring-mount-for-laser-flashlight_W0QQitemZ120015081757QQihZ002QQcategoryZ66827QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem It's the best setup for ~100 depending on what you get ... You can get a 5 dollar mount, skip the click on tailcap, and have a full 120 lumen shock"proof" system for ~80, and a 65 lumen setup for ~60. ... considering you have a rail to mount it to, which you don't, unless you have the sidearmor. But seeing how surefire does not make a foreend for the m4 yet, it's either duct tape, a sidearmor rail, or a crappy barrel clamp system. [ 08-02-2006, 01:13 PM: Message edited by: Duggan ]

Glad to hear you like it. It's 115 here with the heat index, insanely warm for ny. I'm sweating just reading what you did. Is this a new gun? My m4 jammed with everything for the first like 50 rounds, then after that it has not had a single jam ... and I've put about 2k through it. It is a heavy mofo, especially with all that stuff you have. Imagine the weight with a flashlight, laser, forward side saddle, muzzle brake and more. That's why you need a good sling to save your triceps.

See, I didn't think Running Scared was that violent. Certainly not enough to justify that Kill Bill comment everyone quotes.

Good to see people are catching onto the m4+eotech dynamic duo!

I'd like to see her try and carry that 107 around for a little bit

It claims that it will not cycle in semiautos ... however I bet the m4 would give it a fight. Anyone tried this? "TECNOS R&D Department has created a new family of 12 gauge shotshells which have the potential to revolutionize the sports and law enforcement communities. The new loaded shells are approximately 33% shorter than a regular 2-3/4" round and nearly 50% shorter than a 3" Magnum round. MINISHELLS provide excellent power to weight ratios for police use, (especially convenient for police women) Typical police shotguns hold 33% to 50% more rounds when using MINISHELLS. Their smaller size allow officers to carry more ammo and they are easier to handle. MINISHELLS produce lighter recoil than full size ammunition. Any single or double barrel shotgun can use MINISHELLS without modifications. These shotshells can be shot in 12ga single and double barrel shotguns in good conditions. It will not cycle semiautomatic and will have stoppages in most pump action shotguns." Available here: http://www.natchezss.com/ammo.cfm?contentID=ammoGroup&ammoGroup=3&searchBy=size&size=2 and here: http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/copy_of_12_Gauge.html This will be a true test of the m4's gas system. Indeed. I was reading all about this setup on ar15.com Links to threads there with much more information and pictures ... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=288351 http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=289824 Looks to be solid as all hel l. Larue products own, as I have said on here before. I will be getting one of these once they start shipping.

Any 30mm scope rings will do the trick. You can find all types of options on ebay ... Here are two I have used: ARMS clone, quick release, the best of the low end rings I would say ... http://www.1337tactical.com/pro-show.asp?column_cat_id=2&column_id=14 And for a high end, no messing around mount, use the larue offset flashlight mount. http://www.laruetactical.com As far as the rail it mouns on, you really only have one option at this time, and that is the sidearmor rail. http://www.sidearmor.com/cart/catalog/product_50_M401_Shotgun_Interface_system_for_Benelli_M4_M1014.html The yet to be released mesa tactical fcam is a full quad rail, which would allow you to mount a flashlight to one of the sides ... but it has yet to reach the retail production stage. Hope this helps.

I say that loosely. I've used franchis, mossberg 500s and 590's, like 10 remington 870's, an h&k m1, a saiga 12, ithaca POS, the remington 1100 or whatever model they make that is autoloading, a nova pump tactical and even the infamous spas-12. I don't know if the m4 is THE softest on the market, I just know that it is considerably more comfortable to shoot than any other shotgun I have used.

Cool. More info on pride fowler sights here: http://www.rapidreticle.com/index.htm

I guess they figure most hunters will not be adding eotechs, mounts, shell carriers, forward rails, flashlights, vertical grips, etc. If you do not have all this extra weight tacked onto your gun, you do not "need" the argo system, the standard recoil system works fine. I guess they figure it would just raise the price without really offering anything additional to most people. But I agree, I would be in that 10% of people that are hugely interested in a full lineup of gas operated shotguns.
-
We had a batch of custom ones made on here a while back. Unfortunately they are no longer available.
-
Get a larue eotech mount, the GG&G big bolt and big release pad, a full length mag tube or extension, mepro night sights if you wish... Then an fcam, surefire m3, z48 click on tailcap, larue offset flashlight mount, and a tangodown vertical grip. Just waiting on the fcam ... then that will be my setup
-
Fringe, Good to hear! You'll find that the m4 handles like that no matter what shells you use ... any given shell will have considerably less recoil in an m4 than in any other shotgun to date.
-
I hope I had some influence in your purchasing decision . I also have not gotten around to hassling benelli to give me my chokes, thanks for the reminder.

Mags that hold over 5 rounds are evil and the owners will be seized from their beds and summarilly executed in the name of our glorious leader.
