  1. I think this is something we'd all like to know. Don't think SBS's are legal in WA state though.

    Nice One Benelli

Yes, "Some" being "Almost all" it seems...

    Oops!

Must've been one of those key 'load bearing' screws, huh?
  4. I'd prefer to use whatever funk that Benelli uses, but if I ever find a 14" barrel I'll want to change tubes easily. Duggan, does it seem pretty solid with no loctite? Have to tighten it often? I ask because I'm a bit worried about the mag tube becoming loose, and allowing the barrel to slip a bit.
  5. Hmm. I may have to take a look at mine and see if it can be tightened. Been meaning to take a look to see if I could modify ithe stock to carry a makeshift cleaning kit, anyway. I'm not currently using it, since I've got a collapsable stock on my shotgun right now. If you guys need one to play with, I'd be happy to ship mine over so long as it comes back in the same shape. 6. Out of curiousity, did you ever get your finish on the extensions to match the Benelli one?
  7. That makes perfect sense. Way to go, eBay.
  8. Gungho, Care to post your URL for those of us who are interested?
  9. That was actually my next suggestion -- a T-shape would allow usage of the unused area in the rear. I'd go for one of those in a heartbeat. Since you didn't mention anything about the whole assembly moving a bit, I'm assuming you're just changing the size specs/fastening system so that it fits a lot more snugly than the factory sling loops, or perhaps mine are just a fair bit more loose than everyone else's. I don't know, I only had the standard pistol grip stock on my 11707 for about ten minutes when I got it home, and it's been set aside ever since.
  10. I like the idea quite a bit. However, since it only offers 4 shells, I'd probably opt for one of the common pouch rigs. If you could work out a way to fit 4 shells on the collapsable stock, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. As a matter of personal preference, I'd also prefer to have shell carriers on the stock enclosed, especially if there's one elsewhere for fast reloads. That's just me, though. Out of curiousity, is there much 'wiggle' in it? I know the factory sling loops on my pistol grip stock wiggle a fair bit. Not much of an issue for slings, but wouldn't it translate to a fair bit of movement/rattle for the shell yoke?
  11. If you happen to find anything, make sure you let us know. I'd certainly like more options for spare parts for my m4. 'course, I'd also like to know where to get one of those 14" barrels I've heard about, too. Guess some things just aren't meant to happen. Not that I'd be able to use it where I am, but hey...I like having the full kit.
  12. I'd be in for one. Was waiting for the FCAM system to come out, but that may be a while (or not at all).
  13. Steak: It's Not Just What's For Dinner ™. Yeah, that's pretty gnarly.
  14. Hmm. I'll hold out for a while anyway, maybe we'll get some good news. I was putting off getting a shell holder in hopes that the FCAM would be out sometime soon. Not going to hurt me to wait a while longer, since Mesa is making some changes to their shell holders anyway, according to their site. Still doesn't solve the foregrip and light problem, though. Guess I'm SOL there, since I'm not liking all I've heard about the B&T rail.
  15. Yeah, really. I've been waiting for the FCAM system to come out since before I bought my M4. I'm pretty sorely dissapointed by the fact that it might not be coming out at all. I was wondering why there hadn't been any news on it. Very dissapointing, if true. It'd be nice to get some official word on it. Kinda curious why it'd be kicked to the curb.
  16. I can understand that, Duggan. On another note, IIRC you've got a full-length tube on your M4, right? (I've been lurking here for a while). I don't recall where you got it, but if memory serves it was a group order/private run deal. Any chance on such a thing happening again? Extension tubes are still pretty overpriced, and I figure if I'm going to do something, I may as well do it the best possible way the first time. And yeah, I know, that's not really on topic...but is it even possible to hijack your own thread?
  17. So, I just picked up my first shotgun, and following my personal policy it was the best for the job that I could find -- cost be ****ed (though I did get a pretty good deal on it). Now I've got a nice new model 11707. My question is: What do you guys use for cleaning/maintaining your M4's? I recently picked up a FN Five-seveN, and most of the guys I've seen over there say that MPro7 and a bore snake is about as good as it gets, so I was wondering if anyone here had experience with MPro7 on their M4, or if something else would do the job better. Also, any cleaning tips? Things I should look out for? Figure I'll be heading to a local range or shop to see if I can get the full rundown on cleaning it, because I'd hate to screw up and ruin my weapon or have it fail to function correctly when needed.
