  1. I'd call them and request a return. Maybe it was a packing/shipping error.
  2. Why exactly did Benelli decide that the collapsibles would be for LE only? If the legalalities are State Laws, shouldn't they ship to those states? I think alot of us knew that. I remember when I first got my M4, and collapsible stocks were plentiful and going for $150.00 - $250.00, and I did not like them. It seemed like soon after, I decided to get one, and they started this LE Only junk. Literally the previous week, eBay sellers had listings for $200.00. I was lucky enough to score one for $450.00 shipped just as the eBay gougers appeared. Well I can't place blame solely on the seller. I remeber seeing them skyrocket to $1000.00 on eBay/GB.
  3. Here's the pic of some protos, and an M4 equipped with one, but it's been over a year so...
  4. Hmmm..A lil' expensive, but I may just have to get one. How's the quality? Looks top notch. Do they fit the M1/M2 as well? I also have a GG&G on a NIB M4, but have heard they're not reliable. Horror stories of the handle flying out when shells are extracted, the handle itself getting bent, or breaking off in the bolt. That's actually not a bad idea. Imagine a woman with a GG&G charging handle hanging from each lobe.
  5. Whatever became of the Carriercomp collapsibles? The prototypes where like carbon copies of the OEM, and looked to be like they were not gonna be able to stock 'em fast enough. I think that the proposed price was just south of the going rate of an original. And by the way, SOCOM makes an excellent tube. I bought one when he first started, and was more than satisfied with the fit, and finish.
  6. Nevada?? You live in a State (like me) where firearm ownership is not impeded upon with silly "you can't have this attachment because it's a violation" rules. You should be able to enjoy the M4, as it should be enjoyed, without worries.
  7. *Correction* However, I'm sure you'll get more than $1200.00. Good luck.
  8. Damnit TS, if I wasn't going to break the bank, and didn't have one already, I would've relieved you of that fine piece of machinery for $1600 faster than you can say "suffering succotash".
  9. I would say the above is the reason why it's gone 30,000 rounds. I would strip it down and inspect each part, to check wear & tear. That's just me though. I strip all my guns down past a "field strip" & clean/coat with light oil even after 200 rounds at the range. Heck, I make it a habit to do it at least every 6 months even if they haven't been fired. Talk about anal. But that's why my firearm innards are practically pristine.
  10. Great score. I got mine last year with 2 tube extensions for $750.00, NWOB. Not to be nosy, but what's approx. paid price? And once you get it, remember...
  11. True, but not so true. I've heard a few horror stories of folks shipping firearms through UPS and they've just "disappeared". Usually into the hands of an overnight shipping perp..uh, I meant clerk. Oh so true. What they believe, is what they believe, and they won't believe anything other then what they believe. And anybody who believes differently, believes wrong.
  12. And once again, you continue to not acknowledge that these things were said, and felt by people who didn't want him as a president. It's like *waits for response*
  13. I'm mentioning it because it seems you refuse to acknowledge the type of scrutiny Obama faced while running for, and still faces even after winning the Presidency. Those were the types of comments coming from people who call themselves proud Republicans, and even scarier, "proud Americans". Has nothing to do with his political stances, yet we are to believe even the most vague statements I've read/heard, have no racial undertones. Are you naive, or just in denial? My point is most "proud American Republicans" did not take a look at his views. He was immediately dismissed as either Black, Democrat, Muslim, or Black, and "I'd never vote for him". For the record, I was waiting for McCain to "speak to me", but he never did. The one issue I wished he would have spoke on "Americans losing jobs to outsourcing, and the Economy". It either fell under his radar, or he simply ignored (he had no answer for it). Obama spoke on that, and had a plan. If he sticks to his word, and implements this plan remains to be seen, but at least he sparked a thought for the average American. And as an American, I think an economic fix is a far more dire issue to worry about than what race a candidate is.
  14. Ok TS, thanks for clearing up what you meant by experience. But think of what this really means. That the majority of Americans were so fed-up with the way the country was run, that they decided to go with a "Black" guy with no experience. Just admit it. That put your panties in a bunch. Seriously, a "Black" guy, no one had ever heard of (outside of Illinois), with no political experience (other than the Senate), defeating the stat quo at a game they have always won (fairly, or not). This, if anything (if you woke up and realized), signals that there is a change gradually happening. The youth (of all races), who I think was the deciding factor in this past election (just like Bush V. Clinton), for the most part, no longer see race as an issue when dealing with others who are not like them. Your way, and your political affiliation's way of thinking is dying out. To the point where they are going to try to prove for a serious 2012 run, that they are not this upper-crust, all-white, All-American, stuffy shirt party. I would not be surprised to see Bobby Jindal, or Michael Steele as nominees in some form for your party, as a testament to this new way of thinking. Should I then expect to hear some Americans voice how Steele shouldn't be president because "he's Black, and one-third undercover Muslim"? Or rumors of how Bobby Jindal is a non-American, cow worshipping Hindi, with secret ties to the Taliban? Notice how ridiculous these statements are? But like it or not, this is the type of things that were said about Barack by "proud Republicans" moreso than what his stance on issues were.
  15. Aha!! Voicing their opinion by exercising their choices rather than words (threatning or otherwise). Big difference. Another question: Do you ever remember, any one who was a non-white American who publicly stated "they wanted to kill", hoped for a presidential assasination, or plotted to assasinate the president? I've remember I read someone's post on an AK forum that when Obama travelled to where the Bush shoe throwing incident happened, "they hoped he got hit with a shoe, sized 7 point, '62 was a good year". The implication is that 7.62 is the ammo used for the AK. Ok, this proves that either you're voicing based off opinion rather than fact, or you refuse to state facts. He acknowledged the fact that he was disgusted with the healthcare system in America because he saw how his mother suffered. He also acknowledged on the night he won the presidency that he could not have done it without his grandmother who raised him (she passed away the night of or before), and how she raised him. Also, did he really have to vocally acknowledge he was half-white since every family picture that was ever broadcasted, that included his mother, and/or grandparents, this was an obvious fact? Unexperienced?? How do you get experience to be a president, without being one? And did our sad economic state start a year ago last January? Apologist, no, but how can I not bring up racism (and how can you ignore it) when (THINK HARD): 1. As stated above, name an instance when a non-white voiced they wanted to kill a president. 2. Name an instance when a candidate's religion was an issue, and used as a reason to not vote for them. 3. Stepping away from candidates, name a time when a Christian/Protestant/Lutheran/Methodist/Catholic/Roman Catholic/Baptist, etc was condemned in America for their religious beliefs, and all who are percieved as practicing said religions are considered terrorists. 4. You watch FOX. When have they ever broadcasted a positive/negative balanced view of anything that is not Republican related, instead of the the all negative view. Do you not see a pattern?
  16. C'mon now, I'd like to believe your intelligent, but do you actually believe this? When have you ever heard of anyone refer to the former President in a negative light because of his race, or religion? Do you remember anyone saying "I'm not voting for Bush because he's white", or make a big deal that "he's a "Methodist"? When Obama was up for the Democratic nomination, his race was a always a sore spot, as well as all the "he's a muslim" talk. There inlies the problem. Anyone who is percieved different than what is considered the "All-American norm", is bad. And the sad part is, more often than not, the ones who were saying "I don't want a Black president" (omitting the fact his maternal makeup is White), don't know any Blacks (by choice), and "he's a muslim", don't know any muslims (again by choice), and chose to equate muslims, and Islam, to terrorism/the enemy/the devil, etc. Assuming that you're not racist as you claim, are you that naive that you refuse to see these things? On the other side, I feel that African-Americans who voted for Obama because "he's black" also got caught up in hype. The difference is, African-Americans will be just as critical of him if he performs poorly, and race/religion won't factor into that equation as they didn't with any of the former Presidents.

    M3?

Good condition. $800.00? Sound like a fairly good deal.
  19. DOOKEY FACE

    M3?

    1. How good of a friend is this? What's the condition of the gun? 2. Is anything legal in California? 3a. Pros = Benelli name/reputation, shoots pump or auto with the flick of a switch. 3b. Cons = Accessories are scarce (try finding a reasonably priced collapsible/folding stock), prices the average seller sells 'em for is approx. the same as a new M4.
  20. I have a 590. Don't have a Supernova, but aren't these two different type of guns? 590 = Pump Supernova = Semi Auto
  21. $180.00?? $289.00??? Let me save the day
  22. Two different numbers...always
