I'm currently looking into a North Dakota fall 2010 trip for waterfowl and pheasants...Granted, i have never been there before and if anyone has some advice on getting started, I sure would appreciate it. 2010 over a year away, but I figured that I would look into it and get some ideas on lodging, where to go, etc...Is a guide service reccommended for 1st timers????? Just want to witness something different instead of the typical Wisconsin season..

I always shot the factory modified out of mine...Held a good pattern with 2's and BBB's..Winchester Drylock.......

We get the busniess here too in Wisconsin...People tend to lean for the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association and how much they do for the state and how much of your dollars stays within the state....But, DU overruns the WWA in the amount of projects that they do. I have yet to see a WWA project in my area and there are at least a dozen DU projects with lots of habitat that raise ducks.....In fact, DU dollars where used to restore one of Wisconsins Largest prairie potholes and return it to a major duck breeding factory...

My season ended December3rd.....Ended with 17 ducks and 2 geese...All mallards and teal... It was a good season. Benelli worked flawlessly!!

Those are the mallards that didn't get run over by the snowmobiles up here in WI...

Been a member of DU for 27 years. Second year on a committee....Its for the ducks.......Habitat!!!

I had that happen when I switched from a 3" shell to a 3 1/2". The shot was an over the head deal and the empty stuck out of the receiver backwards on my second shot...Onlt time it happened. Was told, I didn't have the gun tight to the shoulder by a gunsmith....Hasn't done it since...

Lets just say, when I see these pictures, its takes me a whole season just to shoot what you guys take in a day....With that said, it always puts a smile on my face and I wish I was there(but I'm burried) in snow and windchills of -20 below......

I was told by a gun expert that the reason for the "stovepiping, rounds hanging out", is that the gun is not properly seated against the shoulder and can also be caused by over the head shots......Could be the shells also......I'd buy that gun in a heartbeat!!

The day I bought my SBEII, the gunshop owner couldn't say anything bad about the Benelli product. It was either a Browning Silver or the SBEII......He recommened the SBEII...That is what I have.....Two duck and goose seasons and no flaws..........

Kicks makes a good extended tube...About 30.00 cheaper than Pattermaster... But, I heard Pattermaster was the way to go.....

I've had my SBEII for 2 wisconsin seasons and I have not had one single problem with it.....Love this gun!!!!

The leaves here in WI are just starting to turn alittle. The cool August nights are what tells me its that time of year again...Friday night high school football games where yu can see your breath in the air. Maybe a distance flock of local mallards cruising the ag-fields in the countryside..Acorns dropping from the oaks, OH Yah!!!!!!!!!!
