You did that with just 1 1 3/4 oz oz of shot. Man your good. Thats only .023 of one oz. per shell. How did you get your gun to cycle? I bet recoil was low! I thought sbe's needed 1 1/8 to cycle right. I would hold on to that gun.

Maybe you should look into a 25 round ammo belt and wear it to bed, Better to have and not need than to need and not to have.

Most people ( including me) aren't going to be able to reload during a firefight. Not very many people put the time in at the range to make it a perfect habit. Plus, just because you can reload at the range, doesn't get you up for par for the real thing. Experts say you will use what is in and on the gun.Thats true, If you an expert. Chances are you will be fine with what you have in the gun. Novaking

mine does that to. Never had shells fall out of the gun though. As soon as I move the slide back about a 1/2 inch, the carrier moves to the down position. I can't picture what yours is doing. How far do you have to slide the action back?

make sure the shell is in the mag tube all the way. There will be a slight ''click'' and if you turn the gun over, you can see the shell stop on the inter wall.

I would go with the Nova to. You can get a camo Nova for the price of a black Super.
