  1. I've owned my M4 since 2008, here's a picture of how it stands: Modifications: Meprolight night sights, GG&G charging handle, GG&G Release pad, GG&G side sling plate adapter, Blawkhawk sling, Benelli standard stock, and side shell holder from Dicks Sporting Goods store. GG&G charging handle and GG&G Release pad
  2. Welcome blue eye squirrel, and I thought I had it bad being limited to a 5 round magazine for my M4 where I live
  3. I love the GG&G charging handle and bolt release pad...have it on my M4:D
  4. Ohh my, it has a barrel shroud, that thing that goes over your shoulder... McCarthy would have a fit..
  5. I was afraid that an issue like this might arise, and my instincts proved to be true. This is why I decided to hold off on purchasing the FFT forend until the bugs and kinks are worked out in the first couple of batches. Hopefully the manufacturer will correct this soon.
  6. Hummm......I'm sold.... time toplace my order soon!
  7. I wholeheartedly agree!!! Hummm..... becuase of this very issue I decided to hold of on ordering my forend until some people have bought and reviewed them first. i dont like being the guinea pig for any newly released product. I'll hold off for a few more weeks before I place my order.
  8. You can get your answer by reading FFT's FAQ page!
  9. http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/forends-and-followers/the-freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-forearm-forend/ Go and buy it now!!! I cant wait to get mine!!
  10. I was over on FFT's website and it looks like they should be releasing their forends by mid February, if so I am getting it right away! Kip, I cant wait to see what you come out with as for as hammers and disconnects go
  11. I use the same slugs on my Benelli M4 For me I use my Benelli M4 for home defense also. It has the standard stock, factory standard choke tube, stock shell saddle for 5 shells, Meprolite night sights, GG&G release and charging handle, and sling adaptor. I keep my M4 on the side of my bed, and along my headboard is my hearing proctection along with a bandolier of assorted Winchester 2.75" Military 00 buck, Federal slugs, like in the picture above, and some birdshot.
  12. I am all for the GG&G models. I run it on my M4 also
  13. By doing this you are allowing the stock to have more thread of you will to screw into the receiver tube. since you are losing about 1-2mm of space already by putting the sling mount on, the idea is to have the stock screwed on snug and tight so that it wont fall or break off the gun if you happen to drop it...
  14. Sorry for being away for so long, but yes, I got the mount installed properly with the right tools. I had to run down to Home Depot to pick up a #2 philips screw driver, then the rest was easy. Right now I have to find the right sling to use. Any recommendations?
  15. I was wondering, sicne I was looking down the hole running thru the stock I saw something like a pointed rod which might serve as an alignment guide for the stock. Or maybe its supposed to rest against the back of the recoil spring tube to prevent the recoil spring from shooting out the back, I dont know???? Can the M4 theoretically fire with out the stock on safely??
  16. I just wish the instructions came with pictures illustrating each step of the install. Thats the thing I am scared about, how the heck do I get a screwdriver thru two tiny little holes on the recoil pad without marring the rubber??
  17. Yeah, I removed the trigger assembly, unscrewed the stock off....but after that step the instructions say to remove the recoil pad....maybe I'll call GG&G on monday
  18. Hello guys, I just go the GG&G M4 side sling adapter plate loop. It goes in between the stock and the receiver, and I have having trouble installing it. I reviewed the instructions and I dont understand a few things. They say to remove the recoil pad with a #2 philips screwdriver, but I am not sure how to go about doing it.... Has anyone done this mod?? http://www.gggaz.com/index.php?id=327&parents=60,63
