  1. There is a lot of missing context, but they are threatening to assassinate his character in a certain community. *Wants to know more*
  2. Not to encroach on this thread, but does anyone have a Ming vase for sale? *the fft rail works well.
  3. The reason you must replace 4 parts instead of 3, is because the buttstock and PG are being counted as 2 parts instead of 1, as they are physically 2 parts, meaning you need more US made parts to fall under the correct amount of parts. This is specifically spelled out in 922r, describing each as a separate part. With a fixed PG stock, the PG and buttstock are physically one part, and count as 1 part. Functionality/mobility of the C-stock does not matter regarding this aspect as you can see for obvious reason.
  4. Well, if SD will undertake the project, I trust him more than Benelli. To whit, he isn't the one who built your shotgun wrong already... SD has the tools, facility, knowledge, experience, and passion to do this correctly.
  5. Yes, this is crooked. No, this is not normal or correct. No, I doubt it affects the use of the weapon functionally. Yes, I am sad to see this. I would advise that you send it to Stranger Danger and let him handle it, potentially using one of RX Arms recoil tubes, if indeed it bothers you enough to deal with it.
  6. It is not normal. Pic please?
  7. You learn to get pretty adept at operating your C-stock after a while, but there is a learning curve for sure. I am of the opinion that Benelli put a lot of engineering into making that thing stand up to Aberdeen testing. It's got a replaceable steel pin that interfaces with flat in the recoil tube, plus a spring-loaded volcano-shaped detent that wedges in the groove. It's a VERY robust system. The new one? I'd have to look at it. But I KNOW the old one works, and it has the proper LOP's for my uses, right on the money. Full out for NODS use, medium 12.25" LOP for daytime use
  8. I'm good with it. The interfacing portion is still straight. One might say, curved stock for curved cheek, because THAT's the curved part. I can dig it, but my OG C-stock still has 20 years of flawless track record regarding it being a perfectly viable design.
  9. I've found them for $23XX, but honestly, what's good about it? That QD mechanism is kinda cool. The stock is cool for having more adjustment, but it also hasn't got a 2 decade service history in the USMC. Maybe it's durable as hell, maybe not. The charging handle isn't as good as RX Arms, and the rail is compatible with literally nothing but Benelli rail sections. The bolt release likewise isn't as nice as the one from Benelliparts. After looking at it as a whole, I honestly prefer what the aftermarket has provided me in the mean time, money being no object. IF the rail were MLOK compatible, I'd say that was one feature I'd like. Also, some people will like this stock variant. I prefer the current one, solely because yes it meets my needs, and yes it's been tested to hell and back. 10. I've tried many configurations, and this just keeps being my favorite for day/night and low/no light.

They made a 3.5" chambered M1014. Prototype only.
  12. That wml is on the 1913 section? How solid does it lock up? Is it just a thumb wheel, or...? How many rounds on it? How is the light head isolated from battery stack shock? Is it programmable to only be momentary or rid of strobe or only be constant on or..?
  13. Just what the title says. I installed it. I think it sucks. Im getting rid of it. $150 tyd CONUS only. Payment via check, facebook pay, or Zelle. Light install related markings of expected nature are present. Nothing wild or rough looking. All oem nuts bolts and included wrenches are included.
  14. When I have to leverage stuff, I go Arisaka only. 7075 is very critical here. https://arisakadefense.com/inline-scout-mount-m-lok/ I've seen 5.56 guns break 6061 one's. The pictures are now gone, but you get the idea. https://www.ar15.com/forums/AR-15/Maybe-ultralight-scout-mounts-aren-t-a-good-idea-/20-758035/?page=1&anc=bottom#bottom

  16. Multiple people have said "it's rock solid", but I presume the design of it lends well to that. I'd say it's likely to be as stable as the OEM since it is retained identically sans sets.
  17. I am seeing on other forums that people are simply not using the brass set screws. I am of the opinion that maybe the set screws are only for if you're going to mount laser, etc. and need rock-solid zero retention.
  18. Years ago, I had a p226 elite st worked over by Bruce Gray. The whole gun was done in QPQ. Shade at what became Rubber City Armory handled it. The barrel hood has not deformed. There are a few tiny chips from the hard angle, where sigs normally deform (if you work with them, you're familiar with p226 barrel hood deformationself limiting, as normal). QPQ hardened it. This is a 357Sig, btw. So in my experience, yes, QPQ hardens things pretty extreme. That said...I really like what you're doing. If the oem 3 position did not meet my needs, or I had a 2 position, Id buy yours over oem.

Technology and best practice changes. Might be worth another consult at your leisure? Regardless, just let me know if you need some slings to try. Happy to help!

Have you considered surgery? As we age, recovery times and projected outcomes become less appealing. The best day to fix an ortho injury is yesterday. My concern is the recoil causing exacerbation of the issues, but moreover, inability to shoulder the weapon points to many other complications in your daily life as well, and fixing this is honestly more about enjoying life than shouldering your benelli. *complex medical history may make the above moot. If you send me your address, via PM, I will mail you some spare slings. Assuming you live in the continental US. Keep the one that works best, and mail the others back to me.
