Yeah I told the guy I had been using zippers for 36 years and am pretty sure I have them down pat by now.

Just got off the phone with 5.11. They suggested that the zipper getting stuck on the bag was user error. I am sending it back Monday so they can take a look.

Sorry man. I am still on the bubble on selling it. Was sold on selling it this afternoon. Just can't figure out how I want to set this thing up. Have you seen any stock forends with a rail attached? I haven't been able to find anything that doesn't need a tool to field strip the shotty but this one.

Well, I just got my replacement case from 5.11 Tactical and it only took me a few minutes of playing with the zipper to recreate the problem on the new case. Kinda sucks.

Yeah, I hope so as well. I have always been a big fan of 5.11 tactical. I love the bag itself. Love being able to hang a crap load of molle stuff from it as well. But literally the 3rd or 4th time I went to open the bag the zippers got hung up and almost every time I open the bag now they hang up. Total game changer if I ever had to get into the bag quickly in a tight spot. I for sure wouldn't grab that bag to take with me in a life or death. Hopefully the replacement will come in sometime this week.

Are you guys doing the magpuls doings the afg or afg2?

I have the 5.11 double rifle case. Just got it in December and already have a replacement on the way. Zippers get caught on the material inside the bag and I have to put a screwdriver through the hole in the zipper to pull to get it open. I expect the same from the replacement. Really not impressed for an $175.00 bag.

Yeah, same here. Waiting for a solution that falls under the no tools required category. Using the M80 for now. Put the larue LT-619 on my X300 last night and it lowered it a bit more off the bottom of the shotty. I like it a lot. Just going to add the tailcap with remote switch and be done with it for now.

Yeah my buddy with an M2 rags on my M4 cause of it's weight which I get, but my rifle is super lightweight and while my M4 does weigh a little more than the M2 I just don't feel the weight diff on the shotty is that big a deal. I don't compete or anything with mine so it is more for home defense or SHTF.

Gotta be honest here, I have never been a fan of the way they looked on shotguns. I much prefer my M80 with a light attached. Interested to see the new Sidearmor rails Stranger mentioned in another thread though and may go to that and go back to a more stock-like forend once I see those.
