If you didn't assemble it, meaning the LGS did, there's probably a plug in it.
-
Yeah... more crap in the past 3 weeks than the past 6 months. Like everyone else, you wait it out until admin get the upper hand. In the mean time, step away from the 'puter... and go shoot your M2 until your loading thumb bleeds.
-
Those are good, fair prices. Put those in some of the generic, HK and Glock forums and they should move quick. Good luck with the sales.
-
I've seen pricing for used ones from $650 to $795... big spread, and the higher priced guns aren't moving. Your 10 rd mags don't do well outside of Cali, so that's a negative. Sorry I can't offer more better help... I guess it depends on if you sell it in state or out. Don't know what gen the Glock is, and that will matter to lots of folks. I personally like gen2 because I don't like the finger grooves on gen3 and 4. Again, the 10 rd mags don't help on an out of state deal. Best of luck with them, C

Get some OBO prices, take some photos, toss them on TFL, The High Road and HKPro forums... they'll be gone in a week or less if you price them fair. If you're pricing them 'cause you have a buyer, or are doing a trade... never mind.

Hey! Who want's to go to for some Phở Bò Đặc Biệt? No... not hungry?
-
Could someone pull the plug on this crap please. Thanks.
-
Yeah... this is one of those can't have it all deals, which is a nice way of saying you're screwed. ;-)

When I first read your thread, I took a look myself... and couldn't find any useful photos either... it may be that you'd be the first to want to try that combo. Is there a way to limit forward travel of the butt, or shorten the nose of the butt so it doesn't interfere? You could mount a 1913 rail to the receiver and run what ever red dot or holo sight you want, but there's nothing low enough to co-witness with the iron sights.
-
I'm going to take a WAG and say that it will fit. Here's why. The SN receiver is standardized. The stock changes based on the model. So, the generic Burris mount for the SN model should fit any SN... tactical or otherwise, regardless of the stock that's bolted to the gun. If I'm wrong, that means, that for whatever reason, Benelli in their infinite wisdom, has decided to make the SNT and/or the collapsible stock a "special case"... which makes no sense at all, but we are talking Benelli here, so it's possible. Cheers, C

The only thing you can do to screw up M2 reliability with a Nordic tube would be... to cut the follower spring too short.
-
It is starting to get a bit annoying... ain't it.

Perhaps in Spain, Señor Torres' country, there is a magazine limit for shotguns, regardless of use. I tried to do some research on this, but can't find anything specific other than gun laws in Spain are considered "restrictive". Perhaps someone who speaks Spanish can find and translate from the Guardia Civil website.
-
I've been happy with Nordic charging handles... they make two sizes, big and "BFB". Bunches of companies make oversize M2 bolt handles... so just fire up your best "search-foo" and you'll discover most of them. C
-
Sounds like the best course of action.
-
Nope, never encountered that with an M2. As we already know you had the safety off, did you inadvertently have your finger on the trigger at the time it AD'd... or had you fingered the trigger at all prior to it AD'ing?
-
Yep... M2Ts are great. Light, fast, good balance, easy to keep maintained and durable as a bag 'O hammers. If recoil is a bother (the stock recoil pad might as well be a brick, filled with concrete... and covered with walnut)... Mesa Tactical makes a shorter (12.5" LOP) stock with a Limbsaver recoil pad fit to it. For many, the "Urbino" stock, with a shorter, tactically more sound LOP, plus the wonderful recoil pad can turn the M2T from "a gun I like to shoot a little", to a "gun I can shoot all day". In the not too distant future, Mesa Tactical will be making a non-pistol grip stock as well with the same features... if you prefer a straight stock.
-
Ah... an M2T. It's fine the way it is really. You can buy things like oversize bolt handles, bolt release buttons/levers, longer mag tubes, custom followers, barrel/mag clamps (handy for flashlight and sling mounting), shorter LOP stocks, 1913 rails for optics and slings to better tune it to your needs... or you can go completely off the track (like me) and set it up for full boat 3-gun competition. Or you can save your money for shells and practice... and have bunches of fun!
-
Welcome to the asylum old salt... and to you too black. Not that it matters greatly, but what M2 model are we talking about? You might have a model that is ready to rock right out of the box, or a model that tends to benefit from a few mods. As to break-in... You've already cleaned and I assume lubricated it, so filler up with 1 1/8 oz. loads for the first few hundred, clean and lube again and see if it will cycle reliably with 1 oz. loads. If not, no great loss, if it does, now you have a practical lower limit. You can try 7/8 oz. but I doubt it will cycle reliably. If this is a tactical or 3-gun competition gun? ... let me know. I have, or should I say "we" have some suggestions for you. Cheers, C

I don't know if she's a new shooter or not... but make sure she gets regular practice... and try to make it fun. Cornered Cat...

Gotcha. If it's a "what-ever-the-heck-I-feel-like-doing-today" shotgun, then the only advice I can offer is to not get too long a barrel length. A item number 20035 (or 20036 if you're small in stature) would be a good choice, IMO. It's easier to shoot clays with a barrel that's a little short than to try and do HD duty with a 28" barrel. If it's not going to do HD duty, then get what ever length swings best for you. Speaking only of pump and semi-auto receiver guns here, not SxS or O/U, I still tend to error on the side of shorter rather than longer. I've rarely caught a 24 or 26 inch barrel on vegetation, but I've snagged quite a few 28 and 30 inch in mid swing.

Howdy fever... and welcome to Ward B. It's great and all that you want a Benelli, but in order to provide useful advice, ah... what do you want it for, exactly? C
-
Yep... start at about 16-18 inches, see how the gun functions, how much effort is required to load and that it takes all the shells it's rated for. If it's really stiff to get those last rounds in or doesn't take full capacity, take an inch or two (or three) off. I've never gone below 14" on a 8 round tube 3-gun M2, but I know a few guys that have experimented with springs as short as 10" of free length on 9 and 10 round tubes... didn't work too well for feeding the last few rounds, but man, it sure was easy to load!

That two-tone assault bill appears to be 3-position collapsible and highly non-compliant... I'm calling the feds. Nee-ner nee-ner.
