I'd be interested if the price wasn't too outrageous. Pics and a price range would get a more firm answer. Perhaps a group purchase might be a way to go . . . I am assuming it would be a straightforward swap for those of us with an M4 with a fixed pistol grip or field stock (11707 and 11717)? No extra parts needed?

I've also wondered why there are no aftermarket collapsible stocks for the M4. Mags and extensions? Yes. Stocks? No. Kinda weird. Especially since people are paying $700 for a factory one. I'd say the demand is there for aftermarket companies.

My M4 shoots the walmart winchester 15 pack 00 buckshot great. It isn't the tightest patterning stuff but it is cheap (9.47) and somewhat available. I haven't been able to make my M4 choke on it. As an aside, the cheap federal multipurpose stuff sometimes fails to lift from the carrier into the chamber . . .

I was wondering how often you should unscrew a choke and clean it and the threads? My M4 has about 200rds through it so far and I was wondering if i should remove it and clean it. TIA

Did you use needle nose pliers and remove the snap ring and then move the mount and then replace the ring? I'm kinda fuzzy on how to do it without scratching the barrel.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up getting some 3/4" nylon webbing from an sporting goods store and used that with the plastic loops from the Blawkhawk sling.

So I want to mount a plain jane 2pt sling on my camo M4. I found a universal blackhawk sling that is advertised as 1.25" wide (it is actually more like 1 1/8"). Anyways, it fits the sling loop on the barrel attachment fine. However, the loop on the stock is actually less than an inch wide by my measuring. This precludes mounting the sling. I'm a little ticked that a $1600 gun has mismatched loops from the factory, let alone the fact that it lacks sling studs which seem to offer the most mounting options. What are you guys doing to mount a 2 point sling? TIA
