  1. I'd gladly give the parts a try or an unbiased opinion. I have three M4's, so I can shoot one side by side.
  2. Just FYI, that guy tried to cheat a friend of mine. Agreed on a sales price, then changed the deal.
  3. They would have sold a lot more stocks if they had just made a shorter length field stock that kept the tool-less take down system.
  4. I think you made a good choice with the swap. If you compare your receiver extension to the picture I posted in the how to thread, you'll be able to determine if the collapsible stock will function or not. My guess is it will work.
  5. It would be one thing if they were cheap, but they charge a fortune for it.
  6. Isolated incident I'm sure... No wonder ATI turned me down on my request to review the stock. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_1/435303_.html&page=1&anc=bottom#bottom
  7. The T1 seems to have a lot more night vision settings as well for putting the optic in front of the NVD.
  8. I've never seen a psv-14 mount that low.
  9. I received the Trijicon RMR Adjustable LED the other day. Pictures are misleading on the units size. These units are tiny. The only negative aspect of using the RMR I have found is the battery replacement. You have to unscrew the two fasteners that holds the unit to the Scalarwork rail in order to replace the battery. It isn't a deal breaker, just something you have to accept. I could think of no way around the issue from an engineering standpoint.
  10. The barrel was done the same way the H20's are. I believe they do not dip the entire barrel because of the ejector. That part is riveted in place and no one wants to mess with it. Did they coat the bolt itself too? Optics wise, I'm leaning towards the Trijicon RMR's on the ScalarWork rail over the Aimpoint T1. The size difference is amazing.
  11. If I recall, you can remove the rubberized portions of the Surefire M80 and take it down to just the aluminum parts. If you could take a picture of the threaded portion of the magazine tube, I could probably identify if it was coated or not. I'm curious to know if maybe they just bead blasted it.
  12. They actually coated your titanium magazine tube with NP3+? The ARGO plugs are the pieces that hold the pistons into the barrel assembly. There are a bunch of internal parts inside them that aren't commonly disassembled. If they coated the barrel completely, then yours is done far better than the H20's. I agree with doing the top rail and the Surefire rail. Basically only leave plastics black. It looks great though. Report back when you function test it.
  13. Outstanding. How does the M4 feel? Does it sound any different when chambering? Did they do the entire barrel assembly, or did they only dip the barrel itself and leave the portion that goes inside of the receiver alone? Did the coat the shell elevator? Does the safety feel any different with it coated? Any tightness detected in either the trigger group or in the pistons? Did the disassemble and coat the ARGO plugs? Your build is better than an H2O since it was done in NP3+. You have a lot more done too.

    CLP Lube?

The only thing I can think of that sucked bad was Rem oil. That crap wouldn't even make good android sex lube.
  15. Nevermind. Found the answer in the manual on your website.
  16. Pictures or GTFO.
  17. The ants really liked Froglube. They marched in to my safe and ate it off everything I applied it to. Usually I just use Machinegunners lube and Brian Enos' slide glide grease.
  18. The new GoPro's are pretty awesome. 4k video is pretty bad ass. Or the 1080i in slow motion would be pretty cool. The whole thing weighs about 3.5 ounces too.
  19. Has anyone tried to mount a GoPro to the little side rail of the AVA mount?
  20. Will try to get some. My task is to assemble the aftermarket parts, then ship them to the FFL handling the export. Basic plan for the build is; Benelli M4 H20 Benelli OEM collapsible stock with the aluminum frame, cheek guard fasteners, steel grip block coated in NP3+ Benelli OEM Trigger guard coated in NP3+ FFT Trigger FFT Disconnector FFT 1/2" Titanium bolt handle TTI Shell Elevator TTI Safety (Coated in NP3+) GG&G Oversized Bolt Release (Coated in NP3+) Ava Tactical Light Mount (Coated in NP3+) Surefire KE2-A 500 Lumen Light Head (Cerakoted to match the NP3) Surefire Lumamax I4 Light Body and Tailcap (Cerakoted to match the NP3) Meprolight Night Sights Scalarworks Top Rail Trijicon RMR LED Adjustable Optic (Cerakoted to match the NP3) IWC Magpul MOE QD Sling Mount for the Collapsible Stock BlueForceGear Padded QD Sling with aluminum hardware, Typhoon Kryptec pattern
  21. If you do not need the ring mount, simply leave it off. Love those 14" M4's. Never used a Malkoff light. I probably have about 40 Surefire products. I guess you could say I'm brand loyal since they've never failed me.
  22. Surefire KE2-A Head http://www.amazon.com/SureFire-KE2-A-WeaponLight-Conversion-Black/dp/B00I3FW01G Surefire L4 Lumamax (Body and Tail Cap Z61) http://www.amazon.com/SureFire-L4-LumaMax-Single-Output-LED/dp/B000E24I16 This is a pretty cost effective method of getting a great weapon light package. 500 lumens, momentary/constant on tail cap. E series body.
  23. If this doesn't go through for whatever reason, let me know.
  24. Decided to buy one of these. I'll be placing an order in the next week or so. It'll be going on an M4 H20 that is being sent to Australia. It's going on a working gun made for feral pigs eradication.
  25. Good deal. Thanks!
