Yes. If you're about 6 ft tall, 180 pounds, and have a normal size head and neck like me you should be happy with the center position for handling and optics.

No problem Florida. Maybe get 18.5" and have the barrel cut down/refinished, get a stock from HK why they are available at a good price, and then do your own ATF form. That way you get it now and have a little project.

Thanks for setting me straight. So you've put a deposit on a gun that you don't have an exact date you can actually go purchase it and start the ATF papers. So you havent really purchased it for $1699.00. Hmmmmm, I've got one you can put a deposit on but see if you actually get it or when I'm done borrowing your money I'll send you a zero interest refund.

Pay close attention to the listing: Call for lead time, and Out of stock..accepting orders. That is advertising.

IDK, where you have been misinformed but you will not be able to acquire the 14" SBS M4 for a mere $1600.00. A few people purchased the 14" barrel alone for $1000.00+ last year when they showed up on gunbroker. Do more research. With extreme luck you will be able to find a barrel for $1000.00, M4 for $1500.00, C-stock for $260.00, and the ATF tax stamp for $200.00. All of the above comes to $2960, and thats pending you don't like accessories.

I dont think this will work due to the imbalance of the weight at the toe location of the stock. That snap-hook type would work better between the stock and the receiver.

These measurements have already been posted, I couldn't find the thread though.........someone help. Cheek weld comfort has variables that depend on you. I have low mount optics that work fine for me with the stock at full length and the center position.

One more pic looking down the rear of the stock to see the amount of "overhang" on both sides.

Stranger, what makes it **** quality? Do you have personal experience with the Mesa QD sling adapter? I have installed a few and I admit they could have been designed a bit better by having swivel stops machined on the inside of the cup, BUT installation techniques can make or break this modification. You must shave the screws to make them the same diameter as the roll pin that is removed, not drill the stock to accomodate the screw. And, BTW there is no acorn nut. Look at these pics of the Mesa QD sling adapter installed.

That is the SIDEARMOR system, short rail and 8-shot side saddle. It is awesome, the best side saddle offered for the M4 IMO.

NO, the Mesa Tactical QD mount doesn't interfere at all. Installation of their kit is a pain in the ass though. I've done a few, they all fit perfect and tight with enough time filing and fitting.

I have the VCAS sling with push-buttons, I used a Daniel Defense sling adapter for the front attachment point to the Brugger & Thomet rail assembly and a Mesa Tactical rear QD sling adapter for the Benelli C-stock.

I recommend calling or writing to Benelli customer service if you want an accurate answer, NOT posting a thread seeking speculation from members.

Another defensive junior member WITHOUT an M4 but alot of knowledge. Quit researchin and work to make some $$$ so you can jump on the next old, overpriced, chokeless, non-collapsing stock REAL M1014 that appears online.

Your problem is the FAB Defense rail/handgaurd. First of all it is crap, secondly it was designed for the Gen 1 M1014, not Gen II 11707 or 11717's. You can make that forend work with some time and a dremel tool, but since it is a really ****** part it's not worth the time. Change back the OEM handgaurds and retry.
