I just use a M300 Scout with 123A batteries. I hate rechargeables, too fickle in performance.

My M3 Tactical has no chokes.

The one on the right is identical to the magazine spring retaining cap on my M3 Tactical.

Doesn't *adding* weight reduce reliability in inertia guns?
-
Same here. I did have to replace the loop velcro because the adhesive wasn't nearly as strong after being removed.

He gets them in 2 or 3 times a year. https://www.benelliparts.net/store/p7/Benelli_61171_Supernova_Collapsible_Stock_%2F_MR1.html

What three guns would you take into battle/survival situations
Varangian replied to Broken Legend's topic in Benelli
We standardized for parts, ammo commonality, and interoperability. Every adult in the immediate family has a SBR'd 5.56 10.5" AR-type carbine, a 7.62 16" AR-type carbine, a Benelli M3, a Glock 19, and an Omega 36M that can be used on everything but the shotgun. There are two MRADs with .308 and .338LM kits at different locations, and the Omega 36M works on those as well. We also decided to leverage the AR-15 platform's modularity; every 5.56 carbine also has a 16" upper and we have three CMMG Banshee 100 .22LR uppers at different locations. And plenty of parts. -
Have you checked your tube? My M3 Tactical came with the tube.

Looks good, works great on the M3. Lower 1/3 co-witness with the ghost ring with the straight stock, pistol grip stock, and the collapsible. If I can see through the ghost ring, I can see through the RMR.

Yeah, I emailed them about this about a week or so ago. I finally received my FFT 922r parts, and after installing them in the A&S guard I'd had since November I realized the trigger guard wasn't going to fit my gun. A&S were awesome about it, told me to send it back and they would switch me out.

One quibble with the article, newer M3s do come drilled and tapped for rails.

I don't know if I'm in Kip's band, but I am a very satisfied customer. If perfection is what you want, give your money to Kip. If "good 'nough" satisfies your needs, give your money to the other guys. What I've gotten from Kip has ALWAYS justified the wait.

He probably means this:

Google is your friend...

And there's the rub. He looks to competent and has a good rep, but I don't know if it's treated too hard or soft, too deep or shallow. And I'll probably not know until I suddenly get a full-auto 12 gauge that, as an added bonus, fires out of battery.... But I've put a few dozen rounds on it and can see no cracks or peening...

This. I had a local cut me out a disconnector, and it works, but I don't really trust it. I've been checking Kip's site every day after SHOT to see when the good stuff rolls out...now I guess I'll wait until I'm back from my deployment next April to bother checking again...

Okay, I looked at the disconnector, and it seems to be a pretty simple component. I'm going to take it to a local machine shop to get it reproduced. Anyone know anything I'm missing? It looks to be an easy fix for the 922r dilemma...

I can understand where kronik is coming from. If you use the search function, you get a million threads that go something like this: Ad nauseum. I completely understand not wanting to wade through the crap to find the simple answer to the question asked.

Never had either of those problems...

I shoot steel Hexolit 32s out of this with no problem: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=27550/Product/TACTICAL_BREECHER_CHOKE

They're Benelli stocks. I ordered one from Impact three weeks ago for $180 and got it yesterday. After all the smoke I saw blown here about how hard it was to find one, I was surprised at how easy it was.

Took over a month to get, but my tube arrived today. Wow. Just...wow. I was irritated at the wait, but if this is indicative of the quality Kip puts out, it was worth it.
