  1. Actually, I don't really care what this idiot thinks. I have mine coming and all I was trying to do is help someone who had a question regarding something I knew about and then this putz decides to chime in and take a **** in the thread.
  2. That's EXACTLY how it happens. It's why I told that dumbass to call Clay at Impact and he could walk him through it. Jesus. Oh and if shortofmoney thinks that Impact is going to order an out of stock weapon/don't order it until we get an order without some sort of deposit then he really needs some schooling.
  3. Nice chatting with you.
  4. Not really. I happen to have one on order (deposit paid) with them and know roughly when it's supposed to arrive. I also have a copy of my invoice with the remaining balance listed so I can tell you that I will pay $1699.99 for it. They get them through Beretta Defense and while there IS a lead time, they do arrive based on how they are ordered. Call Clay at Impact and he will explain it all to you.

  6. Well, the only M4 that doesn't have the 3 position tube is the M1014 or one from several years ago. All the current, read new, M4's ship with the 3 position tube. This includes the entry as well as the standard models. So..........now you know. I guess it's a good thing you edited your original post eh? ;-)
  7. Yes, it will.
  8. Why don't you just order it from the website. http://shop.carriercomp.com/
  9. The way you asked the question doesn't make any sense. If it comes with a collapsible stock, model 11724, then it's moot. If you buy the model 11722, with the pistol grip stock, it will have the 3 position tube already installed on the receiver which will accept a collapsible stock.
  10. I stand corrected on the shims. I have never had to use mine on any of my Benelli's and didn't realize they were asymmetrical in thickness. Sorry for the bad intel.
  11. Those shims are for adjusting the LOP (length of pull) and have nothing to do with "sighting in" your shotgun. You need to try some different ammo and see what patterns best out of your gun.
  12. Well, I for one am not going to worry about it. There hasn't been one documented case, that I can find, where someone was busted for 922r on a Benelli shotgun. But hey, we all gotta do what we need to do.
  13. Well, the reality is that Benelli does import these weapons in the configurations with collapsible stocks and extended mag tubes. They simply choose not to sell them to civilians. That doesn't mean that the parts are illegal, it just means that Benelli policy dictates the way they are sold. I have spoken directly to the ATF in Portland and described both my M4 and Super Nova in their current configurations (C-stocks and extended mag tubes) and was told there are no issues that I need to worry about. YMMV.
  14. Would you mind providing a link(s) to the information you found?
  15. Nice.
  16. There shouldn't be any worry on pump shotguns.
  17. IIRC, the term "recoil tube" applies to the semi-auto's as there is a spring contained within to allow the bolt to come back into battery after the shell is ejected. I use the term as it applies to the SN just because it looks the same even though the same function isn't there. If there is a proper term for the tube in the SN then maybe someone will chime in on that. The Nova doesn't have one because the Nova doesn't give you the option of changing out stocks. The Super Nova, like you stated, has three stocks available and they all attach via this "tube" projecting from the rear of the receiver. Keep in mind that the tube is NOT located "in " the stock but rather the tube attaches to the receiver and the stocks slide over it. It seems to me that the tube is there for the sole purpose of attaching the three different stock assemblies. If I'm operating on inaccurate information then I hope someone chimes in to clear it up.
  18. Well you can differ all you want but you might also want to go back and read what I quoted. He asked about the "Super" Nova, not the Nova. The Super Nova has a recoil tube.
  19. I'm not the one with the MR1 so I can't answer that question. I do have a SN tactical and I know it fits on that.
  20. Yes it does. The OP is mistaken.

  22. That looks nice. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get charged for that? What kind of bolt pattern did you go with? Ideally, if I went this route, I would have purchased one of carriercomp's rails and had it drilled for that. Would have opened you us to all the M4 railed possibilities.
  23. I bought one this round from HK and the damn thing came in the unopened factory box, brand new, without so much as a scratch.
  24. Well, no one is going to arrest you for doing it but it is generally not advised. I took the liberty of doing a google search "for you". http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=steel+shot+through+a+full+choke&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
