After watching Magpul's shotgun video, I don't think I'd be interested in a Mossberg. It was the most difficult of the bunch in terms of doing round changeover drills. Not saying that is isn't a good gun but after watching them use the it, Benelli's, 870's, and 1100's, I know I won't be adding one to my stable. I'd rather have a Supernova Tactical for a pump.

You are not doing yourself ANY favors here.

As is stated on the home page of the forum, it is NOT a conduit to customer service and they do not want you posing those kinds of questions here. I can tell you from experience that if you call then and calmly, rationally, explain whatever you need that they will more than likely take care of you. OTOH, if all you want to do is start bashing threads on the forum, I don't think you will get very far. Good luck.

Oh, and disregard the picture of those safe queens above. The Super Sport is a gun you can actually take out, shoot, and have fun with.

I have a 28" Super Sport I bought last year and I love it. I have used it for clays (for which it was designed) as well as using it successfully for pheasant and wild turkey ( I use an Indian Creek turkey choke). It is light, swings awesome, and cycles everything from the cheapest WalMart loads to the best 3" magnum loads you can buy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again and I highly doubt that I ever get rid of it. I don't own an SBE II but one nice thing about the is that you can get it in camo if that's important to you for hunting. I have held one in the store and while I don't think it is lighter than the SS, it's still feels and swings good, to me.

I read on the internet that if you only dry fire it .375 auto that everything should be fine.

Actually, only the tang on Kip's is steel. The Handle is actually Ti and is bonded to the steel tang with some sort of aerospace adhesive. It's talked about in the thread that Super33 linked to IIRC.

Super33 quoted it in the above post and I'll do it again. It isn't that it's any "better" but it was Kip's personal preference in terms of the beating that the charging handle takes. Please read what I have quoted below and you should understand what Kip is trying to accomplish. By all means, if you want to get a different handle, he's not saying don't do it. He is, however, giving you the reasons that he decided to produce his the way he is.

I ordered mine from Impact Guns. Clay is the guy who handles all their class 3 stuff and he's great to deal with. They do not have these in stock and the wait can be quite lengthy as they get them from Beretta Defense, not Benelli. I got lucky and was able to slip into someones place who backed out on a current order. I was told it would most likely be delivered to Impact in 3-4 months from the time I actually committed. That order had been placed a few months prior to my original inquiry. At a minimum you will have to put down some sort of a deposit and I think it depends on whether you have a history with them as to how much. I had to put down a deposit and the balance to be billed when they receive the weapon. Good luck.

I think you mean "SBS". A while back, BoTach listed 10 of them on GB for $1000 a piece and a few of the guys here snagged them. That was a rare occurrence but you never know, just keep an eye out on GB.
