  1. Pretty sure that guy is from Dumbasscus.
  2. I believe I'll be taking a pass on that one.
  3. Well, semantics aside, they didn't "pay" for the domain and that's what I meant to say. I find it somewhat interesting that it happened right after the Urbino thread kinda got going with the c-stock discussion. Hopefully it's just a snafu and someone forgot. Prolly be back up by Monday.

Kip, Dimension 1 = .616 Dimension 2 = 1.116 Both measurements were from my 11707 taken with my Starrett depth gauge so they should be pretty accurate. Hope it helps. KB

I'll measure mine as soon as I get back to the house. No premium needed Kip.
  6. http://www.mesatactical.com/ Wonder what's up with that and how long it will last?
  7. Actually, their listed price for an 11724 is 1724.99. http://www.impactguns.com/store/11724.html I ordered my 11722 from them just a couple of weeks ago. Clay handles all their class III sales and is great to deal with. $2400 is a bit steep but if he has it for real, it will most likely go.
  8. I bought one of those although it wasn't the kit like that. Mine was $40 and it has been spectacular for getting all my rifles on paper. I just ordered the shotgun adapter for it.
  9. Leo, I can't speak for anyone but myself so here's how I do it. I don't have anyone to take pics for me so a description is the best I can do. Whether extended or in the middle position, I put the butt pad right into the nook of my shoulder with full purchase. From there, I just tilt my head to the right and my cheek lands right in the middle of the c-stock. Looking at some of the pics posted, it seems like there are a lot of guys who have the butt pad basically half on/off the shoulder and their head pretty far forward. I think this contributes to the perception that the c-stock sucks. I also run a Leupold Prismatic but I use the same posture with the ghost ring sights. I don't feel the need to get my head right up on the rear sight/optic. This is a tactical/combat shotgun, not a rifle. From a lot of the stuff I have read, it seems like guys are trying to shoulder it and use it "like a rifle". Personally, I think this is a mistake on a weapon that should be used "both eyes open" and at close range. The only difference might be if you are using slugs but even then, I still consider it a close range weapon. YMMV.
  10. Well this was easy to find. First image that popped up. Looks to me this guy knows how to shoulder an M4 with a c-stock. With it shouldered this way, I don't see how that "pointy thing" could cause any problems. And to add, he might not have the proper cheek weld according to AggiePhil.
  11. This is the photo he referenced in the thread on Mesa's forum. Looks pretty terrible to me if that's how they are using them.
  12. Every new 11707 that is sold in the US has the 3-position tube that is C-stock ready. The one you have from 5 years ago may not but all the ones being sold today do. You are missing out on a great opportunity as the Benelli c-stock is in high demand but most don't want to pay the black market prices that they go for. I have a standard 11707 with a factory c-stock and have an 11722 (14" CQB model) on the way. It also has the 3-position tube and I will be putting a c-stock on it as well. I sure wish it was a US made version. The ability to collapse the stock is an under appreciated feature IMHO. Transport, home defense, CQB, and the list goes on. Seems like the boys cutting up their cheeks might need a little more instruction. I have yet to encounter anything like that with mine.
  13. Thanks. Yep, right in the neck. I'm using my Super Sport (28" barrel) and took this shot with a 3" Remington Nitro Turkey #5 shot. I have an Indian Creek #0005 crio turkey choke with a .665 constriction.
  14. Our fall season goes through the end of December. Hope this is the first of many.
  15. Hey guys, I have a Pristine Leupold Mark 4 1.5 x 5 - 20 MR/T scope with the illuminated reticle along with a Larue SPR - 1.5 mount for sale. The scope and mount were installed but never actually used. Both are in immaculate condition. The least expensive price I can find on-line for the scope is $850 and they often go for $899 if you can even find them in stock. This one in perfect condition is $700 and the larue mount is $150 (usually $200 from Larue). The scope comes with box, manuals, neoprene cover, and Butler Creek flip-up caps. The mount comes with the original Torx wrench and the Larue wrench for adjusting the lever tension. I won't even consider low-ball offers so best not to waste your time if you aren't serious. This is a great deal on a very high quality scope/mount system. Please Let me know if you are interested.
  16. Oh c'mon, there's enough love to go round'.
  17. Oh cody6.0, you are such a brute..........are you sure you don't wanna be my friend?
