  1. Oh yeah, Congrats on the new gun! You're gonna love it. Pretty soon you'll get sick like I did and replace almost everything on it. I'm waiting on the bolt handle from Kip and then I'm finally done!
  2. 10 days? For what? Don't tell me there's a 10 DAY wait for long guns in Cali!?
  3. If I were to buy an M1014 that's never been fired than I might keep it without firing it. That is until I get some shooting time. Personally for me resale value for a gun doesn't mean squat. I'm not a collector and if I buy a gun I'm gonna shoot it. My dad has a 1911 Colt .45 that my grandpa carried in WW2 that will probably end up with me. I won't be selling or shooting it but that's due to some sentimental value. But as far as I'm concerned, any gun that I buy will have a chance to stretch it's legs.
  4. Yes. What good is a gun if you don't shoot it? If you don't shoot it than sell it to somebody that will!
  5. Any City that will ban handguns from law abiding citizens is run by idiots. As soon as this economy finally collapses and the USofA is destroyed as planned I hope they don't drop the ball and make all these stupid gun restrictions again, cause I'm keeping my guns.
  6. I live near Chicago and I didn't realize there was special laws to long guns other than the standard laws. I thought it was just a handgun ban or something stoopit like that.
  7. How long can you hold it in one spot before something burns?
  8. There is no such thing as a similar quality shotgun.
  9. I have some. But I have no clue what a good price is for these. They've been on my M4 for a couple months before I put on the Meprolights.
  10. I agree. You can't go wrong with a full length tube from Carriercomp.com. The first thing I bought was a sling and it's not even on the gun. You might also want to consider a good light.
  11. A guide should have come with the gun. You'll see how simple it is, especially after you've done it a few times and get the hang of it.
  12. If you can't find a trade how much would you sell the collapsible stock for by itself?
  13. I ordered the part late Monday, paid a bit extra for 2nd day air. After reading all the bad reviews I called Tuesday to make sure it'll be shipped Tuesday to be received Thursday. They shipped it and I just got it. Maybe I just got lucky and got what I actually ordered and on time. Just thought I would post this and give Bodach Tactical the credit they deserve from a satisfied customer. But honestly I probably won't order from them again because of the horror stories I've been reading. If it's hit or miss, I'll quit while I'm ahead.
  14. For regular target shooting my PG stock is great, no problems and never do I wish I had the C stock. On the other hand, in a HD situation I would rather have the C stock. The PG stock is way too long for maneuvering through halls and around corners. It's just too bad I can't afford one. I simply can't justify spending $700+ on a stock when I already have a perfectly good PG that makes me happy most of the time.
  15. It looked like it was gonna flank them and attack. Nice shooting!
  16. All those nice close-ups and the only pic of the whole gun is wrapped in plastic.
  17. What a waste. I get a woody carrying mine around too. And being in the house, I don't get to shoot mine either.
  18. Yes, your 11707 is notched and ready for a collapsible stock.
  19. So I just ordered something from BodachTactical.com yesterday. This morning I discover a LOT of bad reviews about this place and I'm hoping I don't run into a problem. Has anybody ever ordered from them? I'm hoping some people have something good to say about them.
  20. I think it depends on just how loose your stock is. If it takes some effort to get it to move a tiny bit then it's fine where it is. My stock will tighten pretty good when it's almost in place, that last 20 degrees or so may take some effort but not a ridiculous amount. After that it will still shift a little if I try, like when I'm trying to align it to the receiver after assembling the gun.
  21. NICE!! What Mag tube would be used for that barrel? I'm guessing the stock tube without the neutered extension?
  22. Smooth barrels = rifled slugs. Rifled barrels = sabot slugs.

    m4 stock

I'm still waiting on any info at all about the collapsible stock carriercomp is gonna come out with. I've seen some pictures on their gallery but they're not very close up. Does anybody have any info on these stocks?
