  1. Does this mean I can join the club now??? Huh, can I???
  2. The V2 Surefire light works great with the PVS14 by the way. They did good on that flashlight.
  3. Oh, OK. But this is it, I need to love on my wife after this. The suppressor is a AAC M4-2K with a TAB GEAR hot sleeve. 12.5#'s loaded out. I have a second twin to this one but only with a Leupold CQT and Suppressor mount, same fore grip setup, no light or laser..
  4. 20 year retired LEO and Instructor/Armorer. This is in the testing phase right now, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. Some will like it, some will hate it. It fits and works great for me right now. new mod's will come if need be. I still eat my wheaties! If you think this is freaky! You sould see my Aug A3....
  5. 14#'s loaded for bear... I really don't even notice any issues. Yeah, lighter might be better for some, but for me it slings great and shoots like a champ. The tube from Kip will help a little, but I don't see it doing that much. The Ti charging handle, I'm still thinking about it. The GG&G works great and will shoot as fast as I care to pull it off. I have never over run the cycling.
  6. Thanks, Took some ideas from your combo because I really wanted a vertical grip and I liked the sidearmor rails and shell carriers. The cheek riser was a modified unit by me and it's from this originally. The Breeching choke is from trulock and is their new tactical breaching choke. Made of all steel and lifetime warranty. Same company that makes them for Benelli or at least the one that came in mine. http://www.trulockchokes.com/cgi-bin/eShop/index.cgi?page=photos_descriptions.htm&cart_id=559259.21004
  7. Ok.. here ya go... All done except for Kip's tube to be here next week. Maybe a charge handle from him also. But thats it damit!
  8. Well, The good new is it has a lifetime guarantee to be replaced no matter the cause of failure under normal use. And for $425.00 I would expect that. These things are beefy and the tip does not look fragile to me. Here's a link to my Ebay selling page, I have 2 and this is one I'm selling. The article within the description pretty much say's it all. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180586448653&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  9. I know on my surefire fore grip, I had to remove about a 1/16" notch where the back of the fore grip seats against the stop ring on the barrel near the chamber. The grip would flare over the top of the ring and then not fit tightly against the barrel. so a sharp razor and some small cuts to notch the new fore grip until it seated without wanting to flare out around the barrel stop ring.
  10. I have two and they are mounted on each side of the surefire just forward and below the Sidearmor rail. I know it seems like much, but it really is not an issue as of yet. I have ran some drills with it and seem to balance the forend a little (for me). I use a vertical grip so it's all balanced, (for me). I also have the 8 shell carrier on the side. If any become an issue, I can remove them. Doe not require removal except if you want to take the trigger out. The 8 carrier blocks the take down pin. But no big deal, easy to do still.
  11. I've used DMW, and now GG&G and the last one is nice. But again, when Kip comes out with his, he'll get more of my money.... I just can't stop spending, I feel like a politician!
  12. If I drop it on the ground it means I'm already dead! I have ran out of 12ga ammo for the M4, my Glock is all out of .45acp food, and my arm has become very tired of slicing and dicing, which means I have died of boredom.
  13. Whats everyones educated thoughts on these blades? I'm working on offering this service, but a lot off work getting set up.
  15. Glad to help, thanks for your work and contribution to the Benelli M4 community. I'll PM you as soon as I am able.
  16. When I see it, I'll believe it...
  17. I have the same set up with a 9 MOA unit. It works perfect. I have mine on my Sidearmor rail and set a little forward, but it will work anywhere on the rails. Keeps it light since I have the sidearmor, need to not add anymore weight.
  18. Nope, I have already tried it... Still too high.
  19. Here you go... http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=199292604
  20. Several issues sound like the same I had. I know this sounds redundant, but clean the gun and especially the inside of the tube very well, mine was nasty and caused feeding issues. If you used Dave's springs, they do not work, get a factory spring or Kip's spring to really safe. I have one of Kip's tubes on order now. As for the Fab forearm, I agree, ditch it. It causes issues with your gas piston action. Surefire is good to go. After changing my spring out, cleaning the crap out of tube and putting the surefire forend on, it is flawless. If your not going into battery, it could be short stroking the bolt due to the gas pistons being hindered.
