  1. Thanks for the link, just wanted to be mentally prepared when mine arrives.
  2. Since the 11701 consists of 15 imported parts, it is my understanding you are required to have 5 U.S. Parts. The following was copied from the following link, scroll down to post # 2 http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php/13576-Is-adding-a-factory-collapsible-stock-and-mag-tube-legal-on-M4-11707?highlight=GCA+922%28r%29 (D) a semiautomatic shotgun that has at least 2 of -- (i) a folding or telescoping stock; (ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; (iii) a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 5 rounds; and (iv) an ability to accept a detachable magazine. In order to assemble such a shotgun, it cannot consist of more than 10 imported parts, the the 11707 consists of 15. These are: Quote: 1. Receiver/frame 2. Barrel 3. Bolt 4. Bolt carrier 5. Trigger housing 6. Trigger 7. Disconnector 8. Hammer 9. Buttstock 10. Pistol grip 11. Forearm/handguard 12. Magazine tube 13. Follower 14. Gas Piston 1 15. Gas Piston 2
  3. How about posting the installation instructions
  4. That weapon was put on sale 7/26/2009
  5. Not good with a collapsibleStock
  6. DId a google search and found a REALLY bad review of the TacStar on another forum dated 3/21/2011. For sure enough reason to search for another solution. It only is mounted by one bolt which takes the place of the trigger group pin, and then the front end is a bit flared to sit against the receiver Well no matter what I did, there was no way to keep the thing put with a full load of shells in it, it would keep flopping around http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=411202
  7. Anyone have any experience with TacStar SideSaddle that will mount 4 or 6 rounds? Based on many recommendations on this board, I ordered carrierComp PicatinnyRail for my 11707 M4 and then realized the CC rail doesn't support a shell holder (at least from my searches on this forum). Today I came across the TacStar that is advertising: the tough, weatherproof shell carrier is attached to an aluminum mounting plate that installs directly on the shotgun receiver. All mounting screws are included, no gunsmithing required http://www.tacstar.com/6-shot.php
  8. Did you connect to a magazine extension or the one piece from carrierComp? Also if you have a picture of your setup, certainly would appreciate. Thanks
  9. AMEN! The socialist state of Maryland is one of them. :-( Each state grandfathers pre-ban weapons. However, California, Connecticut, Hawaii,. Maryland and New Jersey also require registration of such weapons.14
  10. Is he working the M2 hammer/disconnector or M4? If M4 why different design for gaming?
  11. For sure it sounded like a great time. Interesting comment about the bolt handle, have been visiting his site and never noticed the bold handle. Will have too check again.
  12. Haven't received my firearm and or manual therefore researched unloading|loading M4 via youtube. Does Benelli recommend a set way? Also if a 'ghost' load is loaded is the unload any different? Thanks
  13. is that two or four port?
  14. Quote from CarrierComp: Combined with our US made magazine tube and US made follower, your fixed stock Benelli M4 achieves 922® compliance. As you can see from the quote, it doesn't state anything about C-Stock, it specifically states 'fixed stock' I don't have any idea, just posting what they state.
  15. Ordered mine tonight and no idea what number I was or am on the waiting list. :-)
  16. Is this still avail?
  17. GREAT photos ( Picture is worth a thousand words ) along with your detailed tutorial on the installaion. You and "SD" should be under contract by the after-market crowd (who certainly bypassed marketing 101) to peddle their products. A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the idea that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also aptly characterizes one of the main goals of visualization, namely making it possible to absorb large amounts of data quickly. It is also amazing the amount of items for sale on this forum and the poster doesn't include any pictures, dang I am just getting old. Again thanks
  18. LOL, you the man! Thanks, great explanation. Wonder why GG&G didn't explain it and have a video? Edit: what about this package, will it cover all the necessary hobbyist gunsmiths jobs: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=29339/Product/DELUXE_PUNCH_BENCH_SET
  19. As a new guy to this forum and the M4 it is amazing the amount of after-market|OEM items and I have only seen one video on an installation. That is 'rat worx' on the Benelli C-Stock, GREAT for them, now they just need too lower the price. :-) One would think that all the after-market and OEM vendors would have a video installation for the product they are humping. Posting an installation video on youTube (Marketing 101) would certainly reach a wider market, resulting in mucho monies in their pocket. Maybe they never heard of "A Man's Reach Should Exceed His Grasp"
  20. Know it is late but ' rat worx ' has an installation video on youTube
  21. Does this discount apply to active and retired military?
  22. Are you aware of a video on the installation of the GG&G button?
  23. crofton

    ? on ammo

Thanks, when mine arrives I will use my trap loads and see what happens.
  24. Dang you the man, for sure these HELP. You know this 'friggin' forum is costing me mucho monies! Don't even have my M4 in hand, arriving next week and already I laid $190 for the carrierComp mag tube and now you have sunk the hook on your light configuration. Taking monies away from my scoot chrome project. :-( Dang, dang.
  25. Dang, neat setup. Thanks for the pictures really helps understanding of the installation. Never seen an M80 up close and can't visualize the rubberized portion. Will investigate. Again thanks
