  1. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/1438310.htm If you cant sell them then recycle them.
  2. Thanks! Funny how so many are being listed for over $200 and "SUPER RARE BENELLI M4 FIELD STOCK, HARD TO GET!, GET IT WHILE YOU CAN AT THE LOW PRICE OF $275.00 TODAY!" These guys can kiss my $$$
  3. There is an sl-80 stock on gunbroker for the 300 dollar range
  4. These work well, and depending where you find it, affordable
  5. When I was waiting for my Supernova to arrive, I had high expectations for its performance after reading about it. I could say I was disappointed after shouldering it and inspecting its features. I truly loathe the trigger; there is a large amount of creek and uncertainty with the engagement. It is not as bad as the 870, 500, or Maverick 88; but it totally caught me off guard as nobody had mentioned it. After spending some quality bonding time with my Supernova;), I adjusted to the trigger. The forend is marginally wobbly, just enough to make your ears hear it. The issue is caused by design, and not manufacture. Many folks have reported that their Supernova forend wobbles. No big deal Reloading shells is a vital feature that your "home-defense" firearm must perform flawlessly, and the Supernova has that covered:cool:. Unlike its semi-auto brethren, the shell lifter stays up until you move the bolt. No more dreaded "Benelli-thumb" here! The follower is a plastic orange piece, I don't like it because it drags too much. That doesn't mean the follower won't work. The action was terrible when I racked it, but it slicked up rather quickly. That button under the forend is neat, but I don't think I'll ever use it. The overall finish is satisfactory, I can't tell it apart from my M3 or M1 finish. The H2o is even better! Benelli didn't cut corners with the finish at all; however I would love to see more chrome parts. I would definitely purchase the Supernova as it met all of my important criterias: Finish, Function, Price*, Balanced weight, Ergonomics, Safety location*, and ease of disassembly (500 definately failed this!). *results may vary
  6. Here are some Benelli factory barrel options available. Supernova Barrels can be found at under $200 (and we are not speaking of the Carlson's Crap-Barrels) if you look at the right places. For your purposes, I would obtain the Tactical Ghost Ring sights; and not just because they have "tactical" in it. 7. Are there better options for "home defense"? Definately. Are there better options for "home defense" at the MSRP? No. Overall I like the gun. Here are some pictures, I will write some more about it later. 8. 404:ERROR? = Nova is a stock infused receiver that cannot be modified. Thus can not be interchanged. The Supernova and M2 can interchange stocks given that you have the Long Bolt OR Adapter
  9. So to my knowledge, that the Vintage Benelli M1 and M3 (H&K Imports) models have the one-piece magazine tube. Which is a borrowed designed from the grandfather that started it all; the M-121. The design change for the the default short magazine tube made it more practical to reconfigure the weapon capacity; which on the M3 you would have to destroy the plastic forend slide support. You must use a strong solvent or heat to remove the one piece magazine tube, both methods will damage the slide support. If you notice that most M1 Super 90s imported by H&K have the desirable 2 piece and anodized receiver; the really early ones have the one-piece and ceramic receiver. So this leads me to believe that H&K also imported a few M3s with the 2-piece and it was not changed over. The link above is the second H&K M3 I have seen with the 2-piece tube. As a side note, Benelli Armi S.p.A. still exports one-piece magazine M3s with the newly designed selector and barrel extension to Europe. It is rather uncommon to find a M3 with a 2-piece tube there. Whereas BenelliUSA Corp. imports M3s with a 2-piece five round tube with the newly designed selector and barrel extension. EDIT: IF anyone has more info on the mysterious M3 please correct me!
  10. Super Dak, you have a superior collection of nfa items.
  11. My messaging system isn't working; take a look yourself: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=810473
  12. I was cleaning it and didn't place it back it on because that one came with a side saddle and I did not have an extra pin at the time.
  13. I ask because I own both the H&K and BenelliUSA imported. The Ghost ring module on the H&K is rather difficult for me to adjust and it has the one piece magazine tube (which is nearly impossible to remove without destroying the plastic)
  14. Are we talking about Benelli factory or aftermarket???? The thread adapter is different in length from each perspective manufacturer.
  15. May I ask why you are requesting for an H&K imported one with the 2nd generation ghost ring sights?
  16. Holy smokes, your bolt group looks WORSE than my Vintage VERY early USED Benelli Armi M1 Super 90.
  17. Ok, I have three of the first version of barrel; while importation by both H&K INC. and BenelliUSA CORP. The significant difference is the Barrel Extension, with the flared end to ensure the user fully seats the barrel to the receiver and a extended chamber. I assume the M3s imported 2006 or later have the flared barrel and the metal oval selector switch. I am not certain if Benelli had change the diameter of the barrels between the change of the barrel extensions, but it is a possibility. If the choke tube can fit over the barrel, it is impossible to get it threaded (which is the case of all three of my benelli barrels)
  18. M3 barrels are too thin to accept the choke tubes. wait.... a sec, im not sure because Benelli had two different Ghost ring barrels. I only have one of them.
  19. You are correct, in a fashion. The "ring you are talking about is different in shape, and location. The M1 is closer to the receiver.
  20. SOL, the slug scope barrel is a great alternative, if they sold them in the USA...
  21. M1/M3 stocks will fit on the M4 with the long length bolt or adapter, both of which are difficult to obtain. The M4 stock is the picture of the pistol grip, (which is actually a picture of M1/M3; note the missing sling plate).
  22. Peoples republic of California no likey SBS, shoulder-things-that-go-up AKA barrel shrouds, High Capacity clips or Full Auto gats! Or else I would have sent my benelli for some custom work!
