1. exactly the same, with the exception of the retaining ring and lifter (different shape at front).
2. Looks like they used The Thick barrel (M1014) without the choke tubes.
3. Who did your barrel? Its not super shiny
4. The Nova H2O, alongside the Notorious M4 H2O, does not seem to capture Benelli's interest in manufacture. They highly endorse the M3 Kromo, which is apparent when you see that the Nova H2O is non-existent on Benelli's Product Page*, whereas the Kromo has its own showcase. Therefore, parts are almost unobtainium. *Benelli Armi S.p.A.
5. Yes it can accept recoil parts, but the end result on an M4 is unsatisfactory. Ask me how I know.*
6. It has tanked a little since sandy hook, which would be equally saying it has reverted back to normal. I have seen several M4s equal to this and even below.
7. or purchase the supernova/ M1 magazine extension from Mr. P2000.
8. take a picture of your magazine tube with the forend off.
9. I'd go with 24k gold plating ------ I wish they would manufacture some Benelli parts at the Beretta USA Factory in Accokeek, Maryland or something. Is the Marines' 1014 "made in America" to satisfy the JSCS qualification? If so, just steal some parts from there and Voilà 922r solved.
10. And here is my evidence; (you can clearly see them install it on a magazine tube through rigorous twisting) http://youtu.be/XCj0PCGGxtA?t=54s EDIT: Ignore the fact that the video is rather old. It is highly unlikely that Benelli would have switched to a different brand because they prefer Domestic resources.
11. Check out the spec sheet for the temp ranges
12. I have evidence they use 83-55 on the magazine extension tube, not sure about the receiver tube. But i assume it would be 86-72
13. I found out today that Benelli uses Loxeal to lock their threads. One specifically is the 83-55.
14. Larger surface area will equate to less effort to retract the bolt group rearward.
15. Pros for the M4 in this application is very limited...So I will jump to the Cons -Barrel Options: the M2 not only has vent-rib, rifle-sight, and ghost ring sights; but it also is available with a fully rifled barrel. Also in various lengths and camos. -Weight: plain M2 is lighter than the M4 (unless you go with that stupid X-rail thingy) -Comfortech: M2 has it, and it makes a difference along with the ergonomics. But personal taste will vary:p -Price
16. http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/922r-compliant-forends-m2/ Be aware it is just normal checkering.
17. 1.) Remove trigger guard 2.) Rotate stock clockwise 3.) Reverse process
18. Yes both barrels fit. The issue is the handguard, M4 civilian handguard will fit into both barrels, but the M1014 will only fit its original. M1014 handguards are uncommon to find, and even then they are cheap to replace.
