A quality bolt handle would be popular.

Wonder if it's 922r compliant? ;-)

Daryl in the Walking Dead has been rocking an M4 the last two weeks.
He got his crossbow back tonight so I think the M4's appearances are over though :-(
Tried to find some screen captures to post but couldn't find any.

A quick update for anyone hoping to get one of our BOR/RMR + RM06 bundles any time soon:
Our rep at Trijicon just told us that since the release of the Glock MOS 19 and 17, sales of RMRs have taken off ten fold. As such, their lead time for RMR orders is a disheartening 12 weeks...
That Kinda makes sense, I'm wantin' a few Glock MOS myself as well as an RMR for my M4.

The hard carriers usually end up ruining the shotgun in the end. On the Mossbergs they wallow out that cross pin hole in the receiver. I'm thinking I wouldn't want that to happen to my Mossberg or my Benelli.
I bought a Bandoleer for SHTF scenarios that require more than 8 shells. I don't even have the stones to put velcro on my Beautiful Benelli or Mossberg 590A1 SPX! Not to mention they are heavy enough already...

I don't have the heart to stick anything to, or bolt anything to my receiver, so I have a Bandoleer.

Really small Allen wrenches pushing the spring down while driving the roll pin.
Thanx! Sounds like a PITA

Recently ordered a DMW oversized safety for my M4 and received it today along with a ton of other parts. Went and installed it and no matter how hard you try to switch the safety too fire it will not budge. I've taken it apart 3 separate times with the same outcome. Finally said screw it and installed my OEM safety which works just fine. Anyone have any idea as too why it may not work?
Also having fitment issues with the FFT handguards, any ideas on how too fix that?
Did you have to make a tool for the safety install? Wondering how you dealt with the spring and pin.
I understand that you have to fit the Hand guards with a file or sandpaper

Some people don't have PM notifications turned on. Post in his thread.
EDIT: Ahhh, I see ya did post in his thread.

Give me a parts list for the M4. I saw two letters posted and they were different, so I wanted a letter from BATFE in case anyone had questions.
FWIW- The letter posted on the Freedom Fighter Tactical web page is good, as my Lawyer says it establishes precedent.
I'll post my letter as a sticky next week when I get back.
Ahhh, ok.
I have 5 Long Guns that come under 922r law.
You won't come up with anything better than the FFT stuff above. It is a perfectly Laid out roadmap and accurate to the law.

It's a PITA without the proper tools. Even with this magnabit, it isn't super easy to compress the spring. Without the magnabit, you can try to compress the spring with a punch, and insert an alignment pin through the retention pin hole. It isn't going to be easy to compress the spring with a dental pick while you tap the pin in.
I can see how that would be tricky while trying to drive a pin in.
You might have to wait for me to install that safety for a bit...

Yes, or if you've chosen poorly and bought a Tacstar side saddle.
LOL, indeed that one also...

The only reason to remove that part is for a refinish, is that correct?

I've looked and can't seem to find the answer I need so please don't flip out if its been asked before. I'm running a Benelli M4 with all OEM parts along with a OEM 7rd mag tube and OEM collapsible stock. How many parts do I need too swap to become 922r compliant?
4 USA Parts
Your Mag tube ain't helpin' ya
Lots of threads here with the parts that need replacing. Not sure how you looked and missed them.
Go to freedom fighter tactical. They sell all the parts and have 922r info

You can do just the safety.
Any tips on how to get the pin back in while holding that spring down?
-
Can I just do the safety by itself? Or do I have to tear it all down?
-
I'd probably cut the open end.
Makes sense now that I think of it.

I trim 1 to 1.5 coils off the safety spring to make it a lot easier to disengage with your trigger finger. I don't care for the OEM safety either. I like the DMW safety a little more than the TTI one. I'm not really sure why though.
Speaking of coil cutting...
On a Magazine spring, there is a stacked coil end and an open coil end.
Is there a preference for which end goes where and which end to cut coils from?

Hmmm, that's interesting. I liked the looks of the Dave's one too. Had it been "red" marked I would have got one of those possibly.

Well, looks like you guys supplied me with some motivation to get 'er done!
I really don't care for the stock safety, so this one will hopefully fix that.
Daryl and his M4!

We need to call those prop departments and enlighten them!
