  1. I sent a new Field Stock I had laying around to StrangerDanger for a Noveske sling plate. Should have gone this route originally. Beautiful work, fantastic turn around... Thanks Steve

Good deal, how much was the tariff to have it done?

  2. Got a cabelas flyer today, low and behold benelli m1 super 90 1899.00, the picture shows collapsable stock. I thought that with collapsable stock batf says has too many " bad" parts. Are m4's with collapsable stock and oem trigger, hammer, and disconnector now legal?????

Or does cabelas have wrong picture??

    Thks.

I just got a Flyer today with an M4 with a Collapsible stock from Bass Pro shops. Same price

    Here it is: https://www.benelliusa.com/news/benelli-to-release-limited-edition-m1014

Just noticed the stock is fixed

  3. Don't like it. Too big, too bulky and too much. Really dig the the faux wood paneling and all those nifty little stickers and such!

If that's his work cubicle, I wouldn't screw around with him too much...

  4. Oh no. Nothing. Don't ever touch that sling. You'll end up replacing all your BFG's.

The BFG Vickers sling is a knock-off of the VTAC sling Kyle Lamb came out with. It's a bit lighter, but adjusting it under tension on the fly is a real PITA. The VTAC works like buttah, but it's bulky, metal hardware can ding things for those who care, and it just seems to have a lot of "fluff" hanging and swinging which a way.

The LFT sling is absurdly light, very well made, sleeker than the BFG Vickers, and adjust just as easy as the VTAC sling, no metal hardware, super lightweight. It's literally the best, most functional, sexiest sling I've ever used on a gun. Moving forward, all my long guns which are slung, will sport this sling. The price is about $50, and it's a bargain. ESPECIALLY compared to Travis Haley's sling which is similar looking.

Hmmm, wish I hadn't heard all that...

I got a lot of BFG's. I got them during a good sale, so they could be liquidated I suppose for close to even maybe.

    Thanx! I think...

    :p

  5. Continuing to love it, but I just never could warm up to the C_stock. I threw the PG stock on today and am very pleased. The Limbsaver is...a limbsaver as well.Recoil isn't so much the issue as shear forces are. The stock and my shirt slide under recoil and literally tear skin. I had this happen on my SNT, too. The Limbsaver prevents this.

Also, shout out to Lead Faucet Tactical. This is the best sling I've ever used.

Also, chronographed some LR Federal Truball (rated 1300fps). They ran 1168-1200ish at 3m from chronograph. From my 18" SNT, they were doing about 100fps more.

    Hey,

I never get tired of looking at Benelli pix!

What makes the sling so nice?

I have BFG's on my guns.

  6. Doesn't it require a bit of Gunsmithing to install it? I just happened to watch a video review of it last night and the guy reviewing says he prefers it to the larger/square releases because he feels there is less of a chance of inadvertently hitting it while using the shotgun.

Yeah, I don't feel comfortable using my 18v Dewalt to do this either...

Despite my previous successes with it...

  7. There are holes in the stock pad. If you pull on it a little you can see them. I usually put a little oil on my screwdriver and slide it in. I'm pretty sure it's a phillips but can t remember.

Got'em off. #1 Phillips and tight in every dimension. They made it like it should withstand Combat! Don't thinbk the Limbsaver setup will be as robust, but will certainly be more comfortable to shoot.

  8. It must suck to be so poor, and low on the totem pole,

that you have to publicly complain and whine about somebody selling something at reasonable market value.

Go look at old MG parts or muscle car fenders, and tell me I am a price gouger. How much is a MG34 charging handle? a BAR gas tube? Used to be $60~ now they are $500 if you can find them!

You are just sour you can't afford this product at my price, and didn't buy it when it was available.

Are all stock brokers a price gouger?.. You really need to pull that head out of your ass.

    You're doing great work here...

  9. I recommend everyone let Geissele know that they want these items brought back. I shoot them an email about every 3 or 4 months.

I was surprised the value climbed as high as it has. I was buying them up at the 150 dollar price point for upper end builds until they dried up. 300+ is too rich for my blood.

We’d see similar trial by combat with bat’leth’s if a carriercomp bolt knob appeared for sale.

That would be a feeding frenzy for sure.

    I'll ping the Geissele folks

  10. @Evilution

Have you been readin' my mind again dangit!

Some boards ban you for this. I think Head-case does that.

I can understand Toaster wanting to profit from what is now a valuable trigger as it were.

But when I've made some profit on something(on other boards) like this situation, I did as you suggest, I took it to Fleabay.

Fleabay never helped me with a technical issue, never helped me solve a problem, and it is a "whatever the market will bear" environment. So all's fair.

I just don't have the testicular mass to gouge folks who have helped me... To each their own

  11. I have seen several sell at this price point in the last year. So it’s what the market will bare. They are the absolute best hammer out there. They don’t deform like the OEM and FFT hammers from impacting on the along the face where it makes contact with the bolt carrier. If you shoot the M4 a lot, you’ll start to see the hammer face deform, I have posted pictures of this in the past. The sear engagement is larger and provides for a really nice safe hammer release. It’s geissele quality in the golden era of Geissele. It’s going to be tough to beat. They’re super rare these days, I only see a handful pop up for sale here and there.

I mix them in with FFT components, I’ve even plated a few in NP3 to make them even better.

I kick myself for not clearing out an online store who had 13 a few years back.

    Just curious

Have you seen the Briley up close?
