  1. Yes, the auto load lifter worked, plug and play, with the installation of the A&S trigger guard. Note, however, that prior to purchasing the A&S trigger guard, I had already ground down the notch on the shell latch.
  2. Update: I shot a 3-gun match today and the upgrades worked perfectly. The auto lifter saved so much time when the shotgun ran dry (not having to deal with putting one in the chamber and closing prior to reloading the tube). Also, the A&S trigger guard guided the second round of a double stack reload right into alignment with the port. I strongly recommend both products.
  3. It works! After many attempts to tune the parts, I stumbled onto a solution by simply installing an A&S trigger guard. With the conversion to the A&S, the auto lifter functions flawlessly in my M4. I have to assume that the stock Benelli trigger guard was not true to spec.
  4. Update, the replacement part has arrived; however, I am waiting for a new trigger guard from A&S before rebuilding the gun.
  5. Josh is sending me a new lifter. I went a little over-board with my tuning. It was completely my fault but he is replacing it for free.
  6. I was standing in a shooting box, and it was just outside to the right. So, it fell nearly straight down.
  7. Problem solved. My GG&G bolt handle broke during last week's 3-gun event. ?
  8. While this is a drop in product, some tuning is required. It works most of the time but I need it to work every time. I have been working with the owner of the company to get it dialed in. We are very close. Note, I have an M4 which has small differences from the M2 trigger group. The last issue is an 8th of an inch hang that is, occasionally, catching the shell rather than letting it pass. Josh Kenny is very helpful and very receptive to my issues. I just need to get back to my workbench and polish the butt end of the shell catch. Josh indicated that this has fixed the issue for many others with the same issue.
  9. Lifter just arrived in today's mail. Great turn around time. Stay tuned...
  10. I've ordered one ($207 shipped). Will let you know how it goes.
  11. Thanks for the info. Only my after market handle has been dislodged. Let me check the tolerances.
  12. I don't have that, but I can make this work. Thanks.
  13. I have had the same problem. It happens sporadically, I have been lucky enough to find each time. I would also like to hear of a solution. Will inspect my detente parts; however, I can pull on the bolt handle and it is tight. Some how, it gets released (falls out) during the cycling operation.
  14. I must not, I don't know what that part is and can not find it on any schematic.
  15. It is still a great stock. I will gladly deal with having to tighten the screw every few months.
  16. I want one. I've seen one in action at a 3-gun event but did not know they were available for Benelli's.
  17. Will a Canadian made tube meet 922R compliance?
  18. While I love my Urbino stock, the mounting screw is a poor design. If you find that the stock keeps working itself loose, it is OK to field tighten it once or twice. However, at your earliest opportunity, you should remove the stock and check that the stock retaining screw and spring clip are well seated. I am one of those who had the spring clip fall off and the stock mounting screw stuck on the retaining screw. If this ever happens to you, the following is what worked for me. (BTW, cutting a whole in the stock and trying to hold the retaining screw with vice grips failed.) I coated the recoil spring tube threads with Blue Loctite then threaded the stock retaining screw back in (by using a screw driver on the stock mounting screw, as they were stuck together). After letting it sit overnight, I was able to remove the stock mounting screw! Then I just (painfully) removed the stock retaining screw, cleaned (wire brush) off all of the Loctite, and reassembled.
  19. I removed both the front and rear sights. Next, I removed the rail, cut it down, and reinstalled it backwards over the rear sight holes. Now I use a micro red dot. Without the red dot, the rail gives you a nice sight to the front post (with removed sight). However, it does not take long to judge hold over/under with the red dot. Some of my paint did not stick to the rear of the cut (oil). So you can see how I cut it.
  20. Your problem is with the Shell Stop. It could be as simple as the Shell Stop Spring not being inserted correctly. If you have a set of punches, it is a simple matter to remove the Shell Stop and re-insert it with the spring correctly positioned. If this still does not solve your problem, you may need to increase the bend angle on the Shell Stop. This is a piece of spring steel so bend carefully. Remove from gun and trace the existing profile on a piece of paper (or compare to a similar part from another gun). Bend a little, reassemble, and test. Repeat as needed. Good luck.
  21. I have an extension that protrudes over 7 inches past the barrel. This gives me a 10 + 1 + ghost (12). I use the gun for 3-gun competition and put a lot of rounds through it. There is some carbon build up; however, there is no evidence of any interference with the shot pattern. Parts are 1) Carrier Comp replacement tube, 2) Nordic Components MXT Extension Nut for Benelli M1/M2, 3) Nordic Components MXT +3 Extension Tube Kit (tube, spring, and cap).
  22. I had been using a Scalar works rail to mount a Trijicon red dot. However, I was not happy with the size nor clarity of the Trijicon. So, I removed the rear iron sight, flipped the factory rail backward and cut off the overhang. Now I can mount any rail mounted optic and position it closer to my eye.
