Yes button was removed, you'll never drill it in place the steel is to hard. Easy to remove and reinstall.

Drilled and taped a hole a 6-32 hole in the stock release button (This is one hard piece of steel). Reassembled the stock release button and spring positioned the stock to the length I wanted I cut an old drill bit approx 1/2" in length and dropped it in the hole. Thanks! I never cared for the look of their CH, now I'm glad I never went past the looks! and why would someone put that on the M4 it's the same size as the real deal. The other one that looks like crap is the GG&G, and wrong connector area probably works just like the Taran Tactical.

No Pistol Grip - Check 24" Barrel - Check Let the clay fly!

Finished adding a heat shield to my M4. I used some Fireflex Seal tape from the hanger where the steel heat shield touches the barrel, for scratch protection. Mounted very sold, no movement at all, 50 rounds through her and no problems or looseness. Heat shield added 2.5 oz, Titanium Magazine was a minus 4.4 oz for a total weight of 8.08 lbs and 8.13 with the breach installed.
