  1. I'm at a point where money is the least of my worries or problems, so .... win for me.
  2. And sold....in spite of the arsewhole here who tried to crap on my sales thread. Suck it. LOL
  3. I've decided to go a different direction with semi-auto shotguns and so am putting my Benelli M4 up for sale. It has less than 300 rounds through it. It has performed flawlessly with everything from heavy target loads, up to every kind of heavy 00 Buck and slug loads I've run through it. It was made in 2018. It comes with the complete Asgard rail system with side saddle shell carrier. It comes with the full length magazine tube and Collapsible stock. I also added an larger charging handle, titanium. Total value if purchased new with rail system: $2600. Will ship to any USA address to your FFL who must accept from a private party seller. Price $1600, firm. Insured shipping via FedEx Ground: $35.00 No trades. Selling as is, will not sell parts, etc. Payment via USPS Money Order Only. Reference upon request. I have nearly 300 transactions on Gunbroker with an A+ rating and 500 on eBay with Five Star rating. I am listing this on several gun forums. 4. Use the lowest mount you can find. I use an ADM. Works great.

    Another M4

I pulled the trigger on the M4 Tactical Entry with the 14" barrel because...I can. Now the long wait begins....I hope by next May or June? Maybe? I might be able to start using it. Have NFA wait times become any better? Anyone else have an M4 Tactical Entry?
  8. The shoulder is feeling great. I used a bean bag type shooting rest and braced the shotgun against it, particularly through the 80 slugs. Good choice. Wide masking tape to cover up holes...that seems easier then putting up new targets. I can afford to put up as many fresh targets as I want, but it takes time. Thanks.
  9. FIRST, thanks to the folks posting helpful comments on my first post about this. After a somewhat mixed results after my first outing with the M4, I got it out again today and put 80 high power slugs through it and 100 maximum power 00 Buck. After that, it blew through 3 dram target loads, with no problems. Low recoil Federal LEO? Nope, still choking on it. But...I am ok with the results and will just stick with what is working. More details. After the first outing I field stripped it and literally drowned everything I could in oil. It was, to say the least, well lubricated. I put the 80 Federal VitalShok Truball rifled slugs through it and used a bean bag rear rifle support to cushion the beating my shoulder too. Wise choice. I used the opportunity with slugs to dial in my Aimpoint T-2 that I have on it now, with an ADM low mount. It was a fun time blasting away with it. I had a few neighbors at the gun club come over and one guy said, with a smile on his face, "What the **** are you doing pal?" The M4 was ripping those slugs out like nobody's business and with ghost loading I had 9 shots. The smoke hung in the air and loud booms followed. So after I put the 80 slugs through I ran 8 rounds of Winchester 3 dram "heavy target" loads and it handled them like a champ, no issues. No problems. Last time it choked on nearly each one. So, I tried five rounds of the Federal LE low recoil stuff...nope. So, I put around 50 max power 00 Buck through it, tried the LR stuff again, nope. Choke city. I put another 50 rounds of max power 00 Buck through it, and ... no go. After all those heavy loads, I'm pleased the the rail system on it is solid and tight, no wiggle, wobble or otherwise, and ditto for the T-2 mount. The red dot on the M4 is awesome. I dialed it in at 25 yards with slugs and they were shooting like a laser. The target "bad guy" had a very, very bad day. His heart was basically blown out of his chest with each shot at 25 yards. The red dot is super fast for effective combat shooting with the 00 Buck and also with the target loads. I'm using a cylinder choke, wide open. Good results at the distance I need. So, ok...it won't handle the low recoil stuff, but the M4 has far less harsh recoil when using full power 00 Buck and I'm very happy I can at least use heavy target loads through it, #8 shot. AND THANKS FOR THE FOLKS WHO POINTED ME TO THE "KEEP YOUR THUMB STRAIGHT AND KNUCKLE RIDING ON THE CARRIER" LOADING TECHNIQUE. WOW, WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I shot well over 200 rounds today and my thumb is just fine and dandy. THANKS So, it will handle this:
  10. So...got it all properly lubed up and checked out and took it out to my gun club for the first time. I had two purposes today: shoot it for the first time and hopefully break it in a bit so I can shoot target load through it, and perhaps even more importantly, I wanted to try out Federal Premium Tactical loads with the Flite Control wads. I should mention that I have extensive experience with shotguns and with the M4 in particular, so I know it is not me, that is, not properly mounting it, and it ran perfectly with slugs and the higher power buck...but... read on. I bought three different types of 00 Premium Tactical Flite Control 3" Maximum 2.75" maximum 2.75" reduced recoil I fired each type five times from the following five distances: 35 yards 25 yards 15 yards 10 yards 7 yards I began by putting five slugs through it, really high power stuff. Ouch. Pretty much expected it but the recoil was really quite rough. Would NOT want to shoot much of it at one time. Then moved to the 3" loads. Definitely felt those too. Got a good kill zone pattern with it at 35 yards, and of course, it just kept tightening up the closer I got. At 10 and 7 yards, the bad guy target had a fist sized and even small gaping hole in his chest, pretty much blew his heart out. The 2.75" Maximum performed great too, good pattern, much less recoil. The 2.75 reduced recoil was awesome, but .... had failures to eject from the chamber, repeatedly. For the purpose of my experiment, I got all the distances covered with each load and will post pics below once I have them sorted out. BUT I was really disappointing with the M4 not ejecting the husks wiht the low recoil. I loaded it up to the max with the low recoil stuff and repeatedly had failures to kick the husk out and reload the next round. Bummer. I knew it would not work, but I three in 8 rounds of heavy target stuff and it choked and would not eject the husk, I had to do it manually. The good news is the the Federal Flite Control stuff is awesome, works just as advertised and I can most certainly see myself using it as my "go to" defensive load, will probably stick with the 2.75" Maximum just to boost capacity The bad news? My M4 is NOT even able to kick out the low recoil stuff, let alone target ammo. Suggestions? Is it just a matter of shooting 100 or so full power 00 loads through it or more to loosen it up the springs or something?
  11. So, I had some very serious offers and ... I just could not do it. I could NOT sell my M4 H20 Edition with the FL Mag Tube and fully collapsible stock. I'm taking it out tomorrow for the first time and have a nice selection of 12 guage I'm putting through it, mostly Federal Flite Control in various lengths and pellet counts. I'm going to start off with full power slugs. Then give it the 3" flite control. Then move to the "full power" 2.75" and then The lower recoil stuff. I'm going to be anal retentive about it and document each load at various ranges. My intention is to set up at 10, 15 and 20 yards for each load. I'm happy
  12. Can you see through the optic and maintain a good cheek weld?
