It's not really that you need our heat shield, you need a 45* surface to mount the match saver due to the offset. It may work on a briley handguard, I haven't tested it.

This comment lived rent free in my mind for awhile, I would also like to say that it had a part to play inspiring me to make a QD side saddle that solved the bulk issue with the current detachable rigid side saddles on the market. Well I finally came up with a novel patent pending design for a QD Side Saddle Shell Carrier that I am able to offer at a lower price, and give a much lower profile on the side of the receiver when the carrier is removed, and also cut down on the weight substantially. Our design has been in development for over a year. Featuring 7075-T6 aluminum components, and high glass high performance polymer injection mould carrier body. We are slated to release the RX Arms QD Side Saddle Shell Carrier in the fall of 2026 finally! Compatible with probably all shotguns, but fitment tested on the Benelli M4, Beretta 1301 tactical, Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol, Mossberg 590/500/Mav88, Remington 870 etc.

Yes this is true, we do indeed make the finest mag cap money can buy.

I still prefer the OG C-Stock, M1014. Call me old school...

Might be a reality in the next 12 months

Gen 2 is now for sale, with more room inside the cap with the design change. (0.28" additional room vs the 0.15" of gen 1).

WTB- M4 Factory Clamshell handguard- non-M1014 Version

I'm 99% sure they are the same item. There is only one Benelli product ID for left handguard, and one for right handguard. -
Trying to find a little more room in the magazine….

It is at cerakote right now, hopefully 2-3 weeks. -

Okay, yes if you use our heat shield without a "spring retainer clip" in your magazine, then the spring has around 0.25" more room, and it's usually enough to get that stubborn spare shell in the tube. -

Our Gen 2 titanium magazine cap will give additional room for the spring, I still need to do a final measurement but I think it's around 0.25" more room than the OEM. (Compared to Gen 1 which was 0.15" more room. our heat shield assembly also gives the same additional room in the magazine -
You have good point

Those OEM screws are all the same

Ours is only designed to work with the original collapsible buttstock. Not the supernova c-stock on the T-Pro M4.
-
Yes that is the only version it works with.
-
Our 6 position is the best on the market imo, and most competitively priced.

I have an M4 from 2013 with probably equal or more than that. I'll see if I get time to take some pics.

I've also posted these on our website, courtesy of yourself. https://rxarms.com/products/benelli-m4-parts-and-accessories/benelli-m1014-usmc-manual-benelli-m4-manual/

Got my rx arms heat shield.Time to make a sbs version
RxArms replied to rubicon20032003's topic in Benelli
I might add the SBS 13", I'll call it, to the website and get a waitlist going to guage interest. Big issue I have is I don't have an SBS. But I am assuming I can just remove 4.5" from my design, and it should work.. Going blind into an expensive prototype is not something I like to do but this would be the only way I could accomplish it. I have been getting a lot of inquiries about it though. ideally, I need an older M4 (2013 or older barrel) SBS, and then a newer one to test it on, I'd have to enlist community help. Would only be guaranteed on Benelli OEM barrels, not any aftermarket chop jobs due to the tolerances required. the cap design took me a solid 2 months to think of. Prior to that, I had a wave washer to secure the gun down, but I was never happy with it, and decided to not release it until I came up with a solution. -
If one likes the OEM handguard ergos, we designed our MLOK heat shield to compliment the OEM offering which IMO is the best handguard for the M4/M1014. Just thought I would add our offering to the thread here, can check it out at the following link. https://rxarms.com/products/benelli-m4-parts-and-accessories/benelli-m4-handguard-m-lok-heat-shield/

Wanted to share a customer photo, M4 with wood furniture... what a beauty!

I haven't watched the video, but I've seen 1301 bolt issues due to the rotating head passing through the charge handle channel where the key is on the charge handle to retain it in the bolt, due to user error on assembly. This is where the M4 design is different than the 1301. The rotating bolt head doesn't pass through a keyway on the charge handle on the M4. edit: just watched the video and that's brutal video footage for that police officer. Any clips like this for the M4 where it goes click instead of bang?

I've fired many thousands of shells, never had a rotating bolt head problem in my M4s.
