  1. Not getting this can edit, can’t edit thing. Truth be told, could be the whiskey effect. Anyways, Third week was really the fourth week for the call, received a week later.
  2. I ordered mine (403) direct from limbsaver. Took 5 weeks. After calling back three times, the third week, finally got an answer- they were back ordered on material. COVID. she said they were making some on the weekend, and I should receive mine shortly after. I did. That was first week of sept.
  3. I have the same. Son pointed it out when breaking down. Curious as well.
  4. One of the kids. Duck to water on the m4. I couldn’t keep the rounds flowing fast enough.
  5. Went to the range today with the boy (13) to plink some rounds. Started with the 10/22, RSO popped over for some conversation as the kid was shooting away like 22lr was in surplus. Saw my Savior bag, and asked what else ya got. Said, brought the 30.06, and a Benelli 12, and wanted the boy to shoot both. His eyes got a little sparkly, first because the boy was going to tackle both for the first time, but secondly because I said the B word. So said when he’s ready-wants to see him shoot. Really he wanted to see the 12, because he had heard of em, never shot, never seen one in person. I said sure. Anyways boy gets up on the .06, and plugs away a group that was impressive for the first time bolt shooting and a rifle that size. (Insert proud dad moment). broke out the 11707, shot a magazine (spring cut worked beautifully for the 7 round). Loaded another and brought the boy to the table. RSO must have been eyeballing, didn’t have to call him over. Boy took it like a champ for three rounds, and was understandably done (Insert Shit Eating grin proud dad moment here). Oh and he was headshot three for three. First time 15 yards, stock ghost ring. Looked at the RSO, and he had a huge smile with a thumbs up. So I reloaded, and put another box on the bench. Told him - all yours. Without a word, jumped in and off to races. When he was done, he was pissed (jokingly) that I just made him spend 1800 on a new shotgun. Gave me some thanks, and off to pay attention to the others. We were about out of range time, and I was going to go get some more (kid was havin a ball). RSO walked up and said next hour on me. So, we let the boy shoot some more .06, and 10/22 and let the RSO put some more downrange With the 12. All he could talk about was how smooth and accurate it was. All in all, three people had a great day with one gun, and probably will have a new member in short order. Lol
  6. It’s like a medium size Phillips. Dab of oil, stick it straight in and rotate till it grabs. They don’t go on super tight, so once it moves no worries on stripping.
  7. Howdy, anyone looking for a model1810 airtech limbsaver, I have one. Second owner, like new. No marks, chips, dents, scratches or hidden carburetor issues. Buy it for what i paid for it: $30. price includes STANDARD USPS shipping. PayPal ff. New would be 42 plus shipping. Bought it by mistake hoping it would fit the M4 pistol standard. Does not. It is too large for the stock, regardless of noveske adapter (I don’t have).
  8. Search, search, search. I looked for three months, not like a mad hatter, but enough to show some interest. Website after website, used the “show in stock” or the “easy” search methods (sort, etc). Nothing. Then something clicked on night when I was on my fourth whiskey. Half of these sites are stuck in early to mid 2000s web platforms. So instead of relying on the upfront “easy” search, did it directly by sku. Old school. And poof. Same night, 3rd website - found one at Northwest Armory. Didn’t believe it, went to home page searched by normal means- Nothing. Put in sku, (sounds of angels), 11707 staring me in the face with the mystical “in stock” label. Half in the bag, and thinking I saw the unicorn... emailed them. Next day, got an email back and they said they indeed had one in stock. The rest is history. note: not disparaging anyone’s favorite gun dealer, or actual dealer, and their web storefront tech. Just a fact, and because of it I was able to game and gain. I have since done the same occasionally here and there and actually found another. Wasn’t a broker. Don’t ask me where, I was in the whiskey zone, and didn’t retain it.
  9. Looks like I just may do that. Installed new 7 tube, and it only holds 6. So long spring it was. Tried bumping out the spring retainer, but the cap just presses it back in. If I unscrew the cap about 3/4, and the shell fits, albeit tight. Figure I will try the trim of the oem spring first.
  10. Thanks! Already have a new tube from @SOCOMguyon the way, and have picked up a dozen things from the board that will make for smart (not bling) changes along the way.
  11. Can’t edit, so correction: Wasn’t FFT, was another video. Apologies.
  12. So glad I found this thread. Just got my M4 11707, and ran into the 4 shell load issue. Short of pulling the spring, couldn’t figure it out. Needless to say for the price of the gun, and having this issue when advertising 5+1 is slightly frustrating. The potential 7 spring isn’t bad if going to the full tube, but wasn’t something I planned on immediately, especially with 922 compliance (overall cost) from the initial cost of the gun. Funny thing is the freedom fighter tactical video that covers the full Tube and 922r - dude says that people have run the 5 inch spring without issue. That was a flag to me, just on math and spring pressure. Now it makes sense if there is a 7 inch spring. looking forward to being a part of the forum.
