  1. Well, we'd like to know the model too. A pic would sure help otherwise I'd just be guessing.
  2. That's a Panavise 381 vacuum base vise or its equivalent.
  3. You're right, I mis-spoke, it's 5.5 mm. I should have proofread my post.
  4. One of mine was off as well. You can adjust it with a small, specialized 3.5 mm wrench (available on amazon) but the threads are easily stripped on the OEM. I replaced it with a post from Blitzkrieg components. https://www.blitzkriegcomponents.com/benelli-shotgun-sight-posts.html The threads are not so delicate on the replacement.
  5. Sounds like you've got a good one, I've read mixed reactions to them. I personally do not have a clone, I just thought it was an interesting question he was posing and really didn't know the answer to.
  6. There is someone on shotgun world forum asking if shooting 3" magnums through his Panzer Arms M4 clone will help break it in. Will it help break it in or just break it?
  7. Have you tried direct from Wolff springs? That's where I get mine, I've ordered a few times from them. Not all shot shells are the same length, depending on what you're trying to load you may only get 6 in the magazine, that's not uncommon. Still, 6 in the mag, 1 in the chamber and 1 ghost loaded is pretty formidable.
  8. I don't know of any downsides to a 2 round extension vs a 7 round tube as long as you replace the 5 round spring. Be aware that shot shells vary in length between manufacturers so you may only be able to load 6. Fetter's are shorter and will load 7 but they're from Russia, I haven't seen them for sale for months.
  9. You slap the shells on it and it guides them right in, it's why some used to try to dremel a channel in the polymer ones. How you're loading where the shells don't come "anywhere near it" is beyond me, the trigger guard channel is right next to the feed ramp.
  10. I have A&S trigger guards on my M4's because they have feed channels on them, it does help with dual shell loading.
  11. Not working for 2 days.
  12. Right, but it won't "fade". Again, I'd keep it just like that, I like rare stuff. I'm doing like 4 things at once so let me clarify. Bluing will patina after decades. I suppose anodizing would change color if you left it in the sun for a long time, exactly what color it would change to, I have no idea. But I don't think, being stored out of the sun it will change color.
  13. Bluing takes decades to patina, I have no idea what it will turn to but I wouldn't call it "fading". Of course this is just my opinion but I would treasure it if I were you, they don't all come out like that. Who knows why but it's something special.
  14. Watch the "blue" Benelli's become collectors items in a few years.
  15. Hello new owner and welcome to the Benelli forum! Yes, your barrel is cryo treated and it takes crio chokes. https://www.benelliusa.com/shotguns/m2-field-shotguns
  16. Maybe I'm just, "once bitten, twice shy" but I'd hate to spend money on something only to find out I ruined a key feature. The M3 is one gun I personally would not SBS.
  17. I, personally, like the Briley handguards. I have both the long and the short but I don't have an MI to do a direct comparison. In your situation I'd go with the OEM for a bit before I'd spend the $ on any other. Congrats on the NP3, I know you're excited; show us pics!
  18. The M3 is an inertial semi-auto action gun. I'm not sure what putting a shortened barrel on it would do to the cycling action. Sure, you can use the pump feature if it fails to cycle but personally I would not spend money buying and cutting down a barrel just to ruin the semi-auto action. If you do let us know how well it works.
  19. I bought some Fetter last year, several boxes had taller brass than others. I did some research, low brass/ high brass is pretty much a marketing gimmick. The brass doesn't contain the combustion, the chamber does. There is a thread on it. https://www.thereloadersnetwork.com/2018/10/26/ending-the-high-brass-low-brass-shotshell-strength-debate/
  20. I placed my light under the barrel for that very reason, no more shadow-casting.
  21. That's a whole lot of scattergun for not a lot of money, I'd expect this will sell quickly, GLWS!
  22. Looks like you hit the jackpot!
  23. Larue tactical makes nice snap on rail covers in a few different colors. https://www.larue.com/category/parts-accessories/rail-covers/
