  1. If you find a source, lemme know!
  2. The M4 has a fairly long receiver that will easily accommodate a 7 round card which is what I use. I've never had the need to remove the wool from the receiver but I can't imagine doing so would cause damage.
  3. I have a loop of paracord I put between the handle and receiver to get out really stubborn ones if needed. Without the knurling they can be slippery and hard to grasp, the paracord works great.
  4. Not all though, I bought a RealAVID multi-tip driver set (highly recommend BTW) last year. The handle has a light in it which did not work in mine. I called, told them and they sent me a replacement, no charge no questions asked. They let me keep the defective one as well, they've got my business for life.
  5. Yes, you are right, my mistake, it is aluminum. My remedy remains; a little shoe polish and call it good. I wouldn't sweat it too much, guns get bumps and dings. Sure looks like the gun was standing on its end and something (another gun?) fell over on it causing the scratch then the dent.
  6. I'm gonna be in the minority here and say it doesn't look that bad. It's plastic not bluing so it's just cosmetic, rub a little shoe polish on it. It's gonna get dinged with use, honestly, you should have spotted it when you picked it up and Benelli has no way of knowing you didn't do it. "Those aren't scars, they're beauty marks", I'd just keep it.
  7. The price of gas is bad, no doubt but it's the price of diesel that worries me. Everything (except babies) is tied to the price of diesel and it's up 150% since President "Mean Tweets".
  8. Don't use pliers! Make a loop of paracord, insert a part of it under the handle grip and pull it out.
  9. Here was his post: I’d take the magazine tube apart and clean it well inside. Do not apply oil inside the magazine tube at all. I’d recommend making a polishing jig for the magazine tube. I put a 12 gauge cleaning rod in my drill gun, then wrap fine steel wool around a 12 gauge chamber brush. Then go to town up and down the inside of the magazine tube for 5 minutes. Clean out the residue and admire the mirror finished magazine tube. Note the difference in sound once you reinstall the spring and follower. The magazine spring won’t be fighting the resistance inside the magazine tube as much so that it can deliver more of the spring energy to loading shells onto the elevator. This is particularly important when it is the last round or two being loaded from the magazine. The polishing can be done on steel, titanium or even the Briley carbon fiber magazine tubes. And here was the removal tutorial: https://forums.benelliusa.com/topic/17395-benelli-m4-magazine-tube-removal-pictorial/#comment-116591
  10. Check their profile, everyone regular poster here has integrity. I have bought several things off forums, including here. What >I< do is send payment thru regular paypal, (that way I am covered) and ask the seller to send me their charge receipt, then send another payment F&F for that amount. That way I am covered just in case and the seller does not have fees. No one I've ever bought from has had a problem with that arrangement.
  11. It shouldn't be as difficult to load the magazine as you're describing, neither of mine are, something isn't right. There may be fouling or who knows what in there. Stranger Danger (one of the resident geniuses here) has a whole tutorial on removing the mag spring and polishing the inner tube mirror smooth. Try a search here and you should be able to find it. Try that and I'll bet that solves your problem.

    Intro

Welcome to our shotgun addiction! Glad you came, you've made 2 very wise decisions.
  13. BR Field Balm is great stuff, to bad they can no longer make it. I did however pick up a few bottles of it when they notified me of its imminent demise so I should be set. Anyone who wants some should get it now before it's all gone.
  14. Black Aces "double aught" shoots just fine out of my M4's, never had a problem.
  15. I have 3 or 4 different brands but not a Vang Comp, they all work pretty much the same, the esstac has a nice big loop for removal and is my favorite. The only real differences are round count and color. The M4 receiver will accommodate a 7 round size, others, such as Mossberg, will only hold a 5 comfortably and a 7 round fits perfectly in a 30 round AR pouch for rapid spares.
  16. I have one of each, IMO a pistol grip is most desirable if you're going to be shooting cross-body (not shouldered). A field stock slides easily into a scabbard and is easier to reload. Going into battle I would opt for the FS, just my $.02.
  17. Canadians are WAY too nice...
  18. Wow... that's really snotty. How is your barrel not the "approved" length hurting them? Unbelieveable... It's the Benelli/Beretta mobil choke.
  19. I think people are scared to spend money right now with the price of food and fuel going through the roof thanks to spongebrain... Let's Go Brandon!
  20. Personally, I'd snatch it up unless he wants an outrageous price for it.
  21. Remember, it's a combat shotgun in use by the USMC. Those guys can break anything so you are unlikely to do any damage to it.
  22. What Rx said... and stay away from Tipton dummy rounds, I've found them to be junk in other guns, I use A-Zoom Snap-Caps and never had a problem with them in any caliber.
  23. That's a good price for all that, I'd snatch it up but I already have 2 and no room for a 3rd. GLWS
  24. Exactly, cerakoting those extensions is not the best idea. The tolerances are so tight that that couple of microns of coating makes the stock harder to adjust.
  25. Camo clothing is great! If you spill something or get dirty oil on it no one can tell!
