  1. Wow, that's awesome! Congrats on your purchase, it will give you many years of shooting pleasure. The Benelli M4 is, hands down, the King of Scatterguns!
  2. Looks like they just took a couple after-market ideas and incorporated them into a "new and improved" M4. The trigger guard looks to be poly still and it doesn't have a feed channel. Not thrilled with the proprietary handguard either. Frankly, it doesn't impress me much but whatever.
  3. I would advise you to wait a bit for RX Arms new 6-position recoil tube when it comes out shortly.
  4. Be tough! "Comfort Tech Stock" pfft! Wear that shoulder bruise as a mark of pride! It shows you've fired a REAL gun, a man's gun!
  5. It looks nice I like it, if I was in the market for another scattergun I'd consider it.
  6. Maybe it's just me but I would have staged the "beauty shot" on something other than a rusted, roll-off dumpster.
  7. It's the real deal. It's an LE model 11715. It comes from the factory like that, 7 round cap., adj. stock, I have one. The seller is very well known in the AK world and totally reliable.

    Sling

Reposted from another discussion: I use mil-surp M60 slings with qd mounts. Nothing fancy, you have to adjust them using tri-glides but they're wide and nicely padded as they are meant for much heavier guns. Last time I bought some they were $20 each. You can have any color you want as long as it's black. Search on Gunbroker for "M60 sling" there are a few for $14.95.
  9. Proving, once again, you get what you pay for but at least you learned a lot!
  10. Honestly, if it were me, I would not modify a mint M1. As you've said, those are long out of production and quite collectable. That's like trying to touch up a Picasso that has a paint chip. BUT, it is your gun so do as you will. If you want to sell it, let me know!
  11. None you mentioned are issues for left-handed shooting. Side ejecting bullpups are a problem though, stay away from them.
  12. Wow, that's pitiful. I'd, for sure let Benelli know. At least send them an email with your photo showing the poor quality control. This shouldn't be on you to fix, make them responsible and ask directly how they want to fix the problem.
  13. What a great seller! Same day priority shipping and the rail is brand new, not a mark on it, he threw in some bonuses too. I am really happy! You can buy with confidence from Airborne!
  14. Omaha Outdoors has 3 flavors in stock. If you want a LE or other model you can ask to be placed on a list to be notified when in-stock or just keep checking back, they'll get some in. https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/benelli-m4/
  15. The Briley fore end doesn't require screws to hold it in place, it covers the pistons and acts as a heatshield as well. It does add some weight but I'm not humping it over the Afghan mountains either.
  16. If I'm going to a range and taking more than 1 gun I will take my gun cart. It'll hold up to 4 guns plus ammo and etc. This is a pic from their website but mine looks like this. Sorry, I don't have a photo of mine.
  17. Heat shield mod looks good tho, the whole gun looks great, welcome!
  18. You will have to email me directly, for some reason the forum will not let your email address thru
  19. Unobtanium is correct, your performance is about what you should expect from buckshot at 25 yds, that's 75 feet, longer than most direct sight lines in a house (Vanderbilt mansion excluded). A scattergun is an upclose firearm. The M4 is a great combat shotgun but it isn't a miracle worker.
  20. I would love to be the test shooter and find out! Shooting down drones sounds like A LOT of fun! In the Army we had styro planes flying at us a few times. I hit one with a .50 cal once. Knocked that right out of the air.
  21. Looks quite a bit like the short Briley forend to me.
