I shoot clays, pheasant hunt and deer hunt so im not sure which to get, but I wanted to get the easy hit fiber optic sight that tom knapp uses. How would I remove the stock red sight on my SBII and install this one? Also which size is best?

I tried one for a few hours of frustration when duck hunting a couple of years ago.

Ended up ripping it off the barrel and tossing it into the lake.

As soon as I did that, I began hitting birds again.

I think it's a good tool for people with eye dominance problems or those who can't keep their head down on the stock properly.

I was on limbsaver's site yesterday and I noticed that they have some new fiber optic sights there as well.

Does limbsaver make a replacement pad for SBII comfortech and do you think its worht the investment? Also if I get this sight do I leave stock one on or take off?

Don,t remove the factory site just put the easy hit right in front of it. You will have a factory backup just in case the Easy Hit were to come off. Never had one get loose after years of use. (But just in case)

They do make a replacement pad that screws right on. It fits perfect. I really like it. We tested with and without two guns side by side. A big difference expesualy when the weather gets colder. The stock pad turns pretty hard.

How exactly do I remove the stock fiber optic sight on my SBII?

I just unscrewed mine. I didn't need to heat it up.

You turned your stock fiber optic SBII sight counter clockwise without any problems? I dont know I just put the easy hit right in front of stock sight.I like it

You can leave the site frame on the gun but I would at least push the little fiber optic piece out. I know two people who have lost that piece already. They don't know how they were lost but looked at them and they had fallen off.
