Unobtanium
Any good or poor ratings with Brownells Shotgun Followers for the M4? OEM is G2G.
StrangerDanger
The Brownells one works fine. The only reason I got one was to add a US made part.
zee10103
Is it identified as a USA Made Part?
zee10103
What is G2G? Is that a Benelli part number? Thanks, TDL.
Hookster
Hi Zee, The Brownells follower is not marked as a U.S. made part but it is identified as one on their web site. G2G=good to go Take Care, Hookster
zee10103
Glad to know G2G. I was worried, Thought a twinkle was among us real Men.
zee10103
What it the web site went bankrupt, and no info available @ a latter date? Is it that costly to identify a piece of steel? Man, Micro chips are identified made in Japan. Only 3 mm across.
Hookster
Hi Zee, I don't think you'll find a "Made in USA" follower that is actually marked as such. I sent an e-mail to Brownells asking if the follower was made in the USA and printed their response e-mail. I also printed the page off their site that shows the follower because it also states "Made in USA" Later, Hookster

zee10103
Yes sir, I did the same email question. Awaiting their response. Man do you think it it that difficult to stamp a piece of tin? You know I can fab up a die and press it marked Made in USA with the Chuck tools and equipment I have. Just lit the Wood Burner Stove for the first time this season. 44 degrees in Florida this AM. zee10103
What is the difference? 12-3" or 12-3.5"
Hookster
What is the difference? 12-3" or 12-3.5" Hi Zee, I think they are meaning the 3.5 would be for a Benelli using a 3.5" shell (Super Black Eagle). I actually have both the Brownells 3" and 3.5" followers. They are very close to each other. The 3.5 is slightly shorter and the pattern of the holes in the side is a little different. They are both shorter than the stock Benelli M4 follower. I'm using the Brownells 3" one in my M4 but I'm sure the 3.5 would work just as well. zee10103
Thank you again Sir. I will buy both sizes and follow suite.
Hookster
What is the difference? 12-3" or 12-3.5" O.K. but the 3" one should be all you need for an M4 Hookster

Later, Hookster I don't understand why it would matter because the compressed spring coils are longer than the follower anyways. The follower is not going to limit capacity provided the spring is seated at the same "depth" in it.
zee10103
Yes, I could not figure out the language @ the site. I reckon I am to know their definitions.
