best way to clean lead from barrel

Shot several boxes of slugs through my M4. Afterwords, when cleaning I couldn't get the lead deposits (foil?) out of the barrel. I was just using Rem Action cleaner and a tampon which worked fine for bird shot in the past. Do I need to get a stainless steel brush? Which is the best solvent?

No solvent is necessary usually, just buy a Tornado brush.

By lead you mean carbon.

KG-1 will kill all carbon deposits and rape it's family members. It doesn't play around.

dude.. RAM THE F*** out of it a few times with a tornado brush.. then take a couple of pads and flush through it. if that doesnt work. i like duggans idea.. that stuff dont play around.
