Hello, have a bunch of friendly local FFL, great transfer fees, but I have to do all the legwork. That said which wholesaler has the best price and availability for the M4? And what am I looking for price wise. MOst gunbroker ads are in the 1500 range. Missed out on a ftf deal a few weeks ago for $900 from a guy that neded money.

Since Benelli is offering a $200 rebate on the M4 through 7-31-10 I have seen prices increase by $50.00 at my local store. I would buy one for $1500.00 from out-of-state dealer to eliminate $125+ in sales tax and submit your rebate. After all the dust settles you will probably have around $1400.00 invested. Look at these 2 links.

Benelli doesn't sell wholesale to FFL's. You have to become set up as stocking dealer to offer their weapons. I tried with my FFL buddy who gives me his Carte' Blanche with that little document. I spoke with the Benelli rep in the US and he told me you have to provide photos of your shop, commit to a certain amount of inventory, blah ad nauseum. Whoever had one for 900 paid more for it than that

Are you looking for an M4 that already has the collapsible stock? If not, you'd be getting a good deal if you paid around $1300. $1500 is pretty standard but I think you can do better. $900 is unheard of. Add a few hundred with a collapsible stock, I wouldn't do more than $1700. Especially with the dropping C-stock prices.

That's what I just did.

Just make sure you buy from an authorized dealer if you plan to take advantage of the rebate--I noticed some on gunsamerica and gunbroker were not.
