sonny27 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) Freedom Fighter Tactical is making new products that are 922 compliant. I'm very interested in the forend when it becomes available. http://freedomfightertactical.com/products-page/forends-and-followers/the-freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-forearm-forend/ Edited December 26, 2010 by sonny27 Quote
BigHat Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Saw it today too for the first time in awhile. Like that new 1/2 handle? Has that been out for awhile and I just missed it? I like their effort to explain to those that don't hangout here how to stay 922r compliant if that's important to you. Quote
L84Cabo Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Awesome! Anyone know when the forend will be out? Quote
12508 Posted December 26, 2010 Posted December 26, 2010 Sweet. I like that it keeps the oem design. Quote
saym14 Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Sweet. I like that it keeps the oem design. nice but I wish it had provisiont to attach rails if you wish. Quote
Hookster Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Awesome...it seems like manufacturers are starting to hear what we want. Perhaps soon someone will come out with another compliance part that will make compliance with a C-stock possible. Later, Hookster Quote
kronik Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Yep, this would be awesome.. definitely like the idea of not having to go with the Surefire. Quote
Charlton Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 excuse my ignorance, but other than being 922r compliant, what does this offer over the stock rail? Quote
HopetonBrown Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 excuse my ignorance, but other than being 922r compliant, what does this offer over the stock rail? That's it, bro. Quote
Diabolus Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 When comparing the 3/4 vs the 1/2 charging handle from FFT, are there any advantages to one over the other? Can both be used with GG&G bolt release pad? Quote
BigHat Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 When comparing the 3/4 vs the 1/2 charging handle from FFT, are there any advantages to one over the other? Can both be used with GG&G bolt release pad? GG&G bolt release totally independent of the size of the charging handle. I was quite happy with the 3/4 unit for awhile. When I started to practice some drills swapping out the buckshot round for a slug I quickly discovered the GG&G pad release is MANDATORY for doing it quickly. I also discovered I was occasionally clipped my hand when using the 3/4 charging handle. Seriously considered going back to the stock handle, but just purchased this 1/2 Ti FFT handle and I think it will be just what I need. Quote

BigHat Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) Just the info I am looking for, I'll be getting two of the 1/2 ti FFTs. Thanks for the info!!! Just got an email from them. Goggle dropped them for financial transactions -- big, bad, gun parts people. Setting up a new banking agreement. Anyway, might want to wait a day or two before you order. Suspect I'll get mine w/in a week though. CORRECTION: New banking arrangement is up and running. Order away !! Really good guys. They were great on my purchase of the 3/4 handle about 9 months ago. KB Fab Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) Really good guys. +1 on that. I spoke with Todd there this morning about a couple of inquiries I had. I sent them an email through their contact page and he called me back within 15 minutes. It's pretty exciting the amount of M4 accessories they are providing, especially the new forend. LeoAtrox Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Yeah ... That forend will definitely be a pickup when it is in stock. There's nothing wrong with the Benelli forearm except that it is imported. Replace with a US-made copy, and its an easy way to buy some peace-of-mind. Quote
L84Cabo Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Updated info on the forend from FFT. Says they should be out "any day" now, they're considering accepting "pre orders," and they're keeping an "informal" list of folks who want to be notified of the release. http://freedomfightertactical.com/freedom-fighter-tactical-922r-compliant-forends-due-any-day/ Quote
Steve1968LS2 Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 nice but I wish it had provisiont to attach rails if you wish. I'm working with a friend that has a mill.. we are working out how to mill a flat spot on the factory M4 forend to mount a small rail just big enough for a light. Will let you guys know how it works out. Quote
