etale
I managed to obtain an aimpoint micro H1 at a good price, but it does not include a mount. I am wondering what those of you who run a micro on the m4 use for your base/ mount, and how you like it. It looks like there are a number of options out there: Larue LT661, American Defense T1-L, ARMS Inc. micro mount, the factory mount (where can I get one of these??), etc. I have Kip's mil-spec picatinny rail, so there should be no compatibility issues. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!
dprichard
I have two stock Aimpoint. One screw on and one quick detach. Let me know if interested in either. They are off a T1 but I think they might fit.
dprichard
LT-661 is great though.
BigHat
Low LaRue is a QD mount perfect for the M4. Personally though I'd look at the Knight's Armament mount. A bit more $$ but it has spacers that make it suitable for use on ARs (1/3 and 1/2 co-witness) etc too. Just a thought. I have 5 LaRue mounts though and they make good stuff. Can't go wrong. H-1, R-1 and T-1 all mount the same.
xamoel
I'd like to try out the GG&G T-1 mount with flip-up covers. I really like the idea of the extra protection, even though it might not be necessary.
etale
Thanks all for your feedback. I am leaning towards the LaRue, as I want to mount as low as possible. dprichard-I might be interested in one of your stock aimpoint mounts... will send PM. m98evolution
+1 for the LaRue, it's really hard to go wrong with their quality and proven design.
SlowArrow
Can't go wrong with the LaRue mounts - Plus you can get hooked on the Dillo Dust.
