Deer slayer
Going to buy. A 20 gauge m2 slug gun but I have some questions that hopefully you can help with. Question #1 can I buy a magazine extension for the slug gun? Any recommendations? #2 can I buy a combo gun or a field smooth barrel to interchange with slug barrel for coyotes and turkeys? #3 is there a thumb hole stock available for the m2
truckcop
1. Sometimes, if you can find them. Benelli OEM (rare find, GunBroker, Numrich), Nordic Components (when they have them in stock). 2. Yes, you could buy a smoothbore barrel for that shotgun. (pricey). 3. Never seen such for a 20.
Scout_21
Pardon my ignorance but what would a thumbhole stock give you that a pistol grip one wouldn't...assuming you can get one for the 20 gauge. Good luck with your upgrades!
BM4robbins
Pardon my ignorance but what would a thumbhole stock give you that a pistol grip one wouldn't...assuming you can get one for the 20 gauge. Good luck with your upgrades! Perhaps legality where he lives. Only a guess but seems to be common.
remarkable
Question #1. Magazine extension: Personally I would not install a magazine tube extension on the M2. If you do I would only use it as little as possible. The result of the magazine tube extension will be a bent carrier latch. I replace several carrier latches per year, as well as removing them from every Benelli I service. The majority of the bent carrier latches come from magazine tube extensions. You are placing a tremendous amount of pressure on the carrier latch when compressing the magazine spring with more than the factory magazine capacity.
