00 Buck
This is my 3gun setup. I also have a combat setup which is basically the same minus the tube extension but I add a single point sling and a breacher choke. Let me know what you guys think. 00stormbringer
Nice setup. Does the extra 2 rounds on the forend interfere with you grip?
00 Buck
Nice setup. Does the extra 2 rounds on the forend interfere with you grip? Nope, doesn't interfere lefty or righty. My grip is generally at the very front of the foregrip.
txhk
Which magazine extensions did you use, how many rounds total?
StrangerDanger
I found I could load faster from the belt with a California Competition speed loader than from a side saddle. Plus I didn't have the weight penalty on the weapon from the shells and the carrier itself. Consider this, 8 shells adds a pound of weight to your weapon. The carrier itself adds another half pound or so. What at I always recommend people do is strip the weapon of all accessories and run a few courses in a lightweight profile. See if your times improve.
00 Buck
Which magazine extensions did you use, how many rounds total? Nordic nova extension. With ghost load the gun holds 11 in that setup.

I agree completely, rarely do I run a course with the side saddle unless its an extremely long course requiring 40+ shells or its a stage where you have to go to bolt lock after every target. I've been practicing with the quad load from AP customs but so far my favorite method is using Cali Comp loaders.
benelliwerkes
The Progressive Machine shotshell carriers are a upgrade alternative to the California Comp kit.

StrangerDanger
Those Progressive Machine carriers do look nice. I like the shell retainer much better. Good call on dropping the weight.
