Milspec Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I like carrier comps price better but I am not a fan of cerakote finishes. Which tube do most people prefer? Quote
Scout_21 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 CC... they do a fantastic cerakote... Otherwise you can go for the "muted" finish if you want to avoid cerakote altogether Quote
Evolution Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 I have a FFT NP3 plated tube. Back when I bought my H20 model they were the only people providing that finish. It has been fine all these years. CC makes a superlative product according to reviews but, you'll have to wait out a few moons before you get it. Quote
StrangerDanger Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 The color match is better on the carriercomp tubes. Carriercomp tunes are cheaper. FFT often has wait times lately too. 2 Quote

It would be nice if CC offered a tube without the spring upgrade. I have other plans for that. i like the idea of the OEM Benelli tube but the weight savings of Titanium is attractive. Not to mention it counts as a 922r part. Edited June 20, 2019 by Milspec Quote
Scout_21 Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 You can just consider it a spare spring... they do wear out Quote
StrangerDanger Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 The cerakote carriercomp applies does extremely well. I've never seen any scuffs or de-lamination. I'd go with the carriercomp hands down over any other option. Keep the spring as a spare as Scout stated. 1 Quote
Milspec Posted June 20, 2019 Author Posted June 20, 2019 Great testimonials. I may place an order with carriercomp then. It looks like they are available on the website. Quote
Jolly Roger Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 I really liked Daves Metal works. I think he is only asking 90 bucks for a 7 rnd tube. Its metal, but strong. 1 Quote
