Setting aside the Covid/BidenCrap inflated prices, that's a "want-to-sell-it" price rather than a "look-what-I-have" price.  Entirely reasonable.

I picked up an M1 Super 90 a few years ago for 800$. That was the going price for a good condition one. 
 

So this one on sturmgewehr is a good deal.
