sdkidaho Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Ok, we've all seen Tom Knapp (cut and paste this link: mms://wst1.atk.com/anokastream/TomKnappWorldRecord_sm.wmv) and how fast he is with the Benelli. And then there is the Winchester crowd that are convinced that Patrick Flanigan is the best. What about this guy, Tim Bradley? At about 1:45 seconds in he tosses up ten or more clays and takes them out (I think? I can't count the shots well enough). Not too bad. Some very impressive shooters with some very impressive guns. BenelliBoy Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Yup Impressive Shooters... And guns... But i do believe that it was 12 Clays...Just making correction.. Please dont take into offense. Thanks, BenelliBoy Quote
sdkidaho Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 The 12 shots in 1.73 seconds was at the very end, so you don't actually get to see what he's shooting and if he hits them all. Still, very fast. Quote
tucker301 Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 It was a golf ball. He must hate golf almost as much as I do And anytime you can keep three or four empties in the air, within inches of each other - you're FAST Quote
pacecars Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Not a Benelli but pretty dang fast for an unloaded exposed hammer pump. http://www.jspublications.net/records/TGReaper97.wmv Quote
FN_FAL Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Well I guess I won't play devil's advocate about the fastest cycling semi-auto since this thread has stayed civil thus far. I remember a thread awhile back arguing about the "fastetst semi auto shotgun" We beat that one to death. The one thing nobody can argue is that the above shooters are out of control. Holy Smokes Quote
sdkidaho Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 Very true. I think the important thing to remember is that most of us will "never" need our gun to shoot that fast. Ever. So the hundreths of a second difference in speed between these guns is negligible. Quote
Remy Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Good old Model 97------you have got to love them! Quote
FN_FAL Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 skidaho you took the words outta my mouth. Quote
