What does the Benelli part weigh in at? It barely clears OEM which weighs at 36.2g. Quite a feat actually since 75% of the OEM cap looks like polymer. Quote

Ihrinwe Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 Not that there is ever a question with @RxArms products but received and installed this today. Good quality and screwed on with absolutely no problem. 1 2 Quote
RxArms Posted July 4, 2023 Author Posted July 4, 2023 (edited) I did forget to mention, that if you use my cap on a tube without a retaining spring, you will get an extra 0.15” of spring space Vs the OEM. I know 7 shell in the tube is tight with certain loads. The 0.15” extra might be able to give that little bit more that is needed. I tried to hollow out the cap as much as I could to give more room for the spring. Edited July 4, 2023 by RxArms 3 Quote
StreetSweeper56 Posted July 4, 2023 Posted July 4, 2023 This really is a critical part. I had to ask myself, "Do I want a polymer part holding my M4's together or titanium?" The slight extra space your cap affords sealed it, so I ordered 3, thanks Robb! 1 Quote

It depends on the shells which varies in size between manufacturers, I have been using Fetter which I could always load 7 with. The caps don't give a lot of new space so it likely will not make a HUGE difference. The new caps are really nice though. The raw titanium looks especially nice. Quote
RxArms Posted July 27, 2023 Author Posted July 27, 2023 I toyed with the idea of making a different design altogether, more straight out without the 3 large circles machined into it. But in the end, I find benellis cap design quite beautiful so decided to keep the classic look of the cap even though I probably could have achieved 1/4” to 1/2” more spring space. 1 1 Quote
Ceephus Posted July 27, 2023 Posted July 27, 2023 Got mine in the mail today. Machined beautifully and I'm happy with it. Keep up the good work bro. Quote

As long as the tube is machined correctly with proper thread tolerances the cap will work. 1 Quote
Ihrinwe Posted July 28, 2023 Posted July 28, 2023 Can confirm that it works, have it on my CC full length tube. 1 Quote
Ronbo77 Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Hello! Ready to order the raw titanium mag cap. Is it flat on the front or domed like the OEM cap that is on my M4? I ask because the photo on the website has a flat front. Thank you. Ron Quote
