It's about that time again. So who is planning what? I'm looking at an early Land Between The Lakes hunt (pending drawing results), regular KY season, maybe Fort Knox if I tag out early, southeast OH, and maybe central PA.

Also, what's your setup? I'm rolling the SBE, Rhino .660, Win XR 3 1/2" #6.

Four, maybe five states.

Three guns still being tested. Five or six loads are still under review.

Lots more shooting to do before the seasons start...

Good luck on the Land Between the Lakes draw, I've heard that's good hunting.

I'll be hunting Georgia (my home state) and South Carolina. Who knows, maybe I'll get to work a real road trip in this year.:)

Like mudhen, I'm still shooting. Right know it looks like I'll be using SBE2, Jellyhead, Win XR 3 1/2" #6.

Good luck to all this season!

Didn't draw for the area where I live, so... looking at a trip up to Montana maybe.

SBE's cousin - Xtrema2.

Extended Optima Choke.

Trying a couple of different loads to see what works best.

Texas and Nebraska are on the map for me..

As for loads, there is still more testing to be done.

Right now I like this combo,

SBE

Wad Wizard supreme Choke

3 1/2" Federal mag shock #5

I still have to shoot a few more rounds through my tight wad choke before I say I am ready to hunt though.
