  1. Parts finally arrived yesterday. Spent a few hours doing reassembly. Quite a bit of fitting is required to get one of these together after everything has been plated and poor fitting aftermarket components. Such as the FFT handguards must be filed down to get the barrel ring to seat correctly. The FFT hammer had to be ground a bit to make the hammer not hang up on the disconnector. The gas pistons have to be fit. What I do with the pistons is I put the pistons in my drill chuck, then hold a section of 400 grit sandpaper. I then finish it up with some 1000 grit paper. You keep test fitting the piston to the barrel to see when enough material has been removed.

  2. I know these collapsible stocks are crazy expensive but they really make a difference. Still waiting for trigger parts from FFT and my carrier comp tube/spring.

  3. BC it is mof*cking surefire! I agree. I got mine on sale for $100 and sold it for $300 a few years back. I prefer the stock handguards.

  4. jesus, why so much? these things arent even that good, i felt like i overpayed for 180 new when they came out... that rubber stuff can get pushed into the piston and cause a misfire, at least on the first few runs they made.

  5. Last time I was in North Carolina, I almost died from a burst stomach from eating all the great sea food. I’m sure I repopulated a few coral reefs near Wilmington!
