Hmmm... not surprising to me. My opinion of FFT stuff is that generally, the stuff they put out is "almost...but, not quite." That's the best I can describe my opinion of their stuff. I had their hand guards and I had an NP3 7 round tube of theirs.

Agree completely, but I won't stop with one shot and seven or eight loads of #6-7 or 8's to the chest, will take the fight out of attacker no matter the motivation. I remember a story from the 90's were a man armed with a .45 cal 1911 shot and killed an attacker. The judge asked him why he shot the man 7 times? His response..... "It was all I had".

Got a few more of these H2O builds going on. With all the covid bullshit and run on guns this past year, it's taking a long time to first get all the parts wanted, then shuffle the parts thru plating. This one is still waiting on its plastics to be painted in OD green cerakote. I'm doing another one where everything had been NP3 plated, and now we're cerakoting the exterior in FDE. About the only things that will be black will be the rubber grip, rubber part of the buttpad, and the control buttons on the Trijicon RMR. Several more are in various states of waiting at Wright for plating.

This is why I use OEM Benelli handguards and let Tango Arms stipple them. I know they are made of an application-tested material, and I know they will fit correctly. The USMC tested the everloving hell out of the XM1014. I trust they got the handguard material dialed in.
