  1. Heard back from the machine shop today regarding these. Some changes have to made to the design, due to the polymer mold that is used on the current cap, some aspects of the design are not practical. Instead of the lines popping out on top of the mold, the lines will be milled down into the handle (instead of protruding). As a result, this will lighten the cap a bit, but the look will be a bit different. Otherwise the milling time required will not make the cost feasible. This is the biggest change to the look of the cap. Still waiting on estimated weights vs the steel variant, I'll report back when I have the info.

  3. Great advice and info from Benelliwerkes. I used a 5/64 punch to move the pin out slightly for the first stage. Then I realized I didn't have a small enough punch for the next step. I scratched my head and remembered I have an old Dan Wesson firing pin that I use for various things. I believe it's 9mm/38 super dimension. This was perfect. I was then able to ease the roll pin out enough to completely remove it by hand. - Done easy peasy!

  4. I don’t have any deformations or unusual wear under the hood. The 1301 has been flawless for about 400-500 rounds. I love it. I’ve said it before, it’s not a replacement for the M4. That said, I 100% trust the 1301T. If you can have both, you should.

  5. This is the result of 10 rounds of Hydrashok (LE127RS) fired unsupported from the standing at a normal pace without trying too hard. The target is 12" wide. The firearm was a 14" CYL bore M4 Entry model with FFT rail, ADM Ti mount, and Aimpoint 4moa H2. The distance is 65y.

  8. Heres a novel idea, keep it cleaned and well oiled and dont worry about NON-TACTICAL reflective coatings.
