I have refused firearms when purchasing from a LGS and requested to see another just because of blemishes. Of course this was done while at the store before completing any paper work. When ordering online and completing the transfer at my LGS I have always been lucky with the firearm being in the condition expected. Beauty marks are okay, but I would rather create them myself.

I haven't noticed it myself. I don't have a new one to compare it to though. Have you had any FTE issues?

I never said “EXACT”. I’m just trying to get it close so it looks normalish. I thought perhaps somebody may have done the same to this specific part.

My guess is manufacturing tolerances and the fact a roll pin isn’t exactly circular.

Wow... no offense but that's super anal retentive, lol, for something like that I just find a shade of lacquer nail polish and call it good. It doesn't have to be an EXACT match, but that's just me; no one would ever know anyway.

Unfortunately the OP already imho, lost his only chance to ask for a $$ reduction, or a replacement. The forms have already been filled out and presumed inspected at the point of purchase. Once you leave the premises and accept the firearm, its yours. Caveat Emptor applies.

There are many reasons I like my Agency Arms handguard. I can mount a light bar extension on the Mlok and move my Modlite further forward decreasing shadowing, I can also add a pressure pad, a extra shell on the rail, and also have a hand stop mounted underneath via the mlock. My latest addition is a nano tool and holder to adjust my aimpoint red-dot sight. Additionally I can add G10 scales, or use presently, bcm mlok rail covers for grip enhancement
